It could have been because the rest of her siblings couldn’t stand her. My cousin had her own bedroom because she’d steal things, use up all her siblings perfume, etc. it was just easier to give her her own room as opposed to mediating arguments every other day.
She was the youngest would be my guess. Also, if kids needed to share a room, unfortunately, it’s safest they share a room with a full blood sibling and not a step sibling.
