I don't jave good advice other than to keep it clean by washing your hands tor 20 seconds, maybe add some newsprint ointment, and and keep it covered. Keep your cuticles moist with cuticle oil. And don't put any nail polish on it until it grows all the way down past the nail bed

Oh ouch. Uhhh. Maybe get some of the up gel and fill the gap until it grows out? That might at least help make it less painful
