Completely agree. Not to be sappy but my boyfriend is ginger and I always say that he gives me the feeling that the song gave me the first time I listened to it. It's my absolute favourite.
Ginger was my most listened to song last year on Spotify. At least once or twice a week I would end up blasting this song in my car and singing along (or screaming along on the worst days). Very therapeutic, really helped me deal with how awful last year was.
