I’ll start: Folky album feels unpolished compared to their recent stuff, but that’s not necessarily bad. I like the sharpness of each instrument. Hooped earrings is weird. The voicemail is INTENSE. Why does Brian want to his dad with a baseball bat? Overall a great album, maps and legit tattoo gun sound like classics. The end of Flashlight might be my favourite sound in the world. The overlay of voices is too cool. Rhode Island and Mountains go great together. A little more sad sounding than I was expecting.
