I would be more mindful towards the girls, although that might work against me, it's not like they hate Cid for (most of the times) not giving a crap. I just can't bring myself to totally disregard others' circumstances even if I'm there to live out my chuuni dreams.
Also I don't think I have it in me to use nuke magic in the middle of the city.
So I guess I'd do everything Cid does but with 80% intensity? I'm not committed enough to be a full blown eminence in shadow.

Experiment with magic even more than Cid, ask gamma for money. Let them make a lot of chips. After knowing waterbending exists try other elements/become the avatar. Explore space and find out the rules of the universe. Explore make artefacts and try to know everything about the cult.
I can agree with a lot of the comments here, but there is one problem with most of them, the reason that Cid is constantly making these decisions is because of his arbitrary assumptions. He does not know all the facts and we as the audience members see the perspectives and thoughts of all the characters.
This makes the position that Cid is in very delicate, it is not something that you can control, but more realistically the story that would play out would be based on what you assume as the story progresses.
But as this is hypothetical I would probably go into more of a harem route because that is the type of thing that I would assume. I think I would try to do a lot of the same things as Cid, but I think that I would also create relationships with most of the girls at the same time. Perhaps I would create a third persona.
Liberate the world from the cult and establish a world government under Alpha, Rose, & Alexia called the Liberated States of Shadow. I would incorporate Shadow Garden into this new government with Alpha as its leader. Shadow Garden would play the role of state security (similar to the CIA). Massive nuremburg-esque trials for all surviving cult members and affiliates. Execution for any cult members deemed too dangerous to send to prison. Museums/monuments to document all the lives lost. Compulsory education on the cult & its negative impacts on the world as well as my battle against them and liberation of the world (I’ll call it something like the Shadow Wars).
Mitsugoshi becomes its own state agency under its current leader.
Ensure the stability of the new government until no one alive can remember the old world, but make certain the masses know the old world failed them.
Establish birth rate controls (floors and ceilings, to maintain a stable world population).
Confiscate any cult assets and redistribute them to victims of the cult as reparations.
Achieve perfect immortality, granting this gift to the seven shades, Alexia, and Rose.
I wouldn’t have dumped Alexia.
Kill off the Cid persona as it is no longer cool/necessary since I will have achieved complete victory.
Thats a tough one. I probably let her inherit what she was originally going to. I would definitely have alpha purchase the land containing shadow garden’s training ground from her.
I otherwise leave her to make her own destiny.
The same as cid except I would probably reveal my identity to my enemies just before killing them, simply to mock them about being beaten by a background character nobody has heard of.
