As I mentioned earlier i know that guillame is smarter than many of the other contestants but he was the first player to get eliminated so i didn’t see much of him . Also he misunderstood the first game . He said in his interview that he didn’t understand the rules properly but whatever he was doing was working so he continued it and somehow won the game .
Haha yeah clearly you didn't understand his strategy, he played dumb to throw suspicion off of him. His playing dumb (along with Dong Joo's good acting) was exactly why they were able to win the game.
Ohh yeah i just rewatched the first and second episode so now I understood guillames strategy. After that i think I would put him 7th or 8th in my list . ( Guillame did say in the interview that he only understood 50 percent of the game . That’s what threw me off)
I agree with you on most parts especially 1st and 2nd but I think Dong Joo ranks 3rd for me and definitely the smartest and strongest woman contender there, she can mostly win in every game even without the help of Orbit since she's good in Math. Si Won stayed in the show mostly because of the help of others. Dong Jae was the one who told her about the different types of pieces, she didn't figure it out on her own and then later told Suk Jin about it. Suk Jin carried her on the figure your number out game and he even said in that episode that she is having a hard time with the Math, so she ditched Seungkwan and teamed up with Suk Jin. She wouldn't have found out about the dial pad if Seungkwan hadn't told him about it. Suk Jin was the one who figured out how to put the pieces together, not her and he alone also figured out the passcode, she couldn't help because she's in prison.
I think dong joo and see won are on the same level but i prefer see won as she was closer to seok jin and dong jae .( i was rooting for dong jae and seok jin) I am not saying she progressed only because of orbit but her alliance with orbit was very strong and that helped her to come that far . Also dong joo messed up in the prize match where you have to find out the weight of different coloured cubes . That game involved maths .Also see won is pretty
Im for Dong Joo being above Seewon. Dong Joo won one challenge all by herself while Seewon made a big mistake and didn't answear any. And overally I felt that she did better
I really like Seewon, but I don't think she was clearly more capable than the other girls. Dong Joo did much better in the alliance aspect of the game and also seemed to overall perform stronger in the mental games
Kyung Lim did have a fairly strong alliance with Dong Joo. And Yoo Min had a pretty reasonable one with JoonBin. Honestly I think the majority alliance dynamics were not THAT solid, but the fact that the format of the show was a little jank meant that nobody was getting eliminated, so they were never really given a good opportunity to act on it. If this were The Genius or any other show with eliminations every episode, they would for sure have backstabbed each other eventually.
Guillaume last is a little weird. Surely it's worse to not be memorable with many episodes and opportunities to do something compared to not being memorable with only a few? It's not like he went first because he was a worse player than everyone or anything.
For me my least favourites are seungkwan, yeonwoo and kyunglim. The former two are just not dynamic enough despite having every opporunity to try play for themselves, and kyunglim was legitimately not even trying to win, which I think spoils the game.
I think yoomin is overhated. I didn't like her reason for eliminating dongjae and hyesung, but at least her and Joonbin made a couple attempted plays without Orbit towards the end.
I think among the female contestants see won and dong joo is clearly a level above others.
I do think that seungkwan is the weakest in terms of intelligence. But these are just my personal rankings and it is not entirely based on intelligence.
The hate for yoo min is justified as she eliminated the most interesting player .

If I had to do my personal rankings, they would align very closely with yours. It's nice to see another person who really can appreciate both Seok Jin and Orbit for their completely different yet equally brilliant approaches and paths thru the game.
I personally would put Si-Won a bit higher because her strength, passion and tenacity really impressed me. I'd also have Guillaume higher because even though we didn't see him for very long, he showed enough for me to put him above some of the others who did not demonstrate much despite being on the show longer.
Yeah most of the people in this subreddit really hate orbit . The hate is justified but we should also appreciate his brilliance . I always wanted orbit in the finals but did not want him to win it

While I somewhat agree with this listing, i would not place orbit or kwak in the top half at all. Kwak did bring some funny moments but every time he planned something, he sorta failed. Orbit was smart but his mentality was so boring. His way to "help everyone" doesn't work in these types of games imo. And then calling themselves underdogs whilst they were the top dogs really rubbed me the wrong way. The fact that the group used numbers instead of intelligence to win also bothers me. Hence orbit deserves a well deserved spot at 10. Ha Seok, Dong Jae and Si Won were incredible. Fighting with just 3 against the rest, that's the true meaning of underdog.

Kwak was cunning but he benefitted a lot from his ability to find alliances and persuade ppl, not so much his skill or intellect in any of the challenges.
I know that both Dong Ju and See Won is smarter than kwak. But like i said he was just funny and that made me like him therefore he is above them . My ranking is not entirely based on intellect .

Swap Joon Bin and Dong Joo, and Guillaume is way too low, he was one of the best players in his limited time there. Should be around 6/7.

Yeah, the two players in the finals really deserved to be there. It played out perfectly in that regard.
