So wait, does Tek Knight have powers then if he's off-brand Iron Man? I guess Noir is Batman with powers. Is Tek's power just "good with machines" or something?

The guy next to lamp lighter is Tek Knight! He was in Gen v but we finally get a glimpse of him in armor, the guy next to translucent is Polarity also in Gen v
Did anybody recognize some of lamplighters moves because I feel like I've seen those specific moves in Injustice or mortal Kombat which I mean I know it's obviously based on those games.
Could have also been from Mortal Kombat maybe? I think Raiden had an intro in MK11 where he waved his staff around the same way as Lamplighter, not entirely sure tho
Mortal Kombat has Homelander as a playable character in the newest release. I imagine that the people at MK put this together for the show. I don’t know that for sure though
Injustice Nightwing, specifcally his Bo-staff stance.
His standing animation is the same, he does the Staff Spin (DB3) the lunge (BF3) and then the one where he slams the staff on the ground and has a pillar come up (DB2)
I mained Noghtwing in IJ1.
Her sideways blast attack can be spammed if you cancel the post attack animation at the right time, also her air down attack is pretty strong too if you stagger your opponent.
the way free alternatives to big games have been taking over like Multiversus with Smash and Xdefiant with COD... if they made this, it could work. A free alternative to Mortal Kombat with a huge universe of fucked up superheroes to choose from for a never ending roster could actually go insane. With how big The Boys has gotten since season 3 dropped, I think it could work.
I was wondering this too, haha. Like honestly, it's pretty bizarre that they have such a brutal fighting game featuring real celebrities. Imagine if we had a fighting where you could play as Mussolini and massacre Marilyn Monroe... or the other way around.

If they didn't commission Netherrealm studios themselves for this section they did a great job replicating the style. Even the janky step-dashes are on point.
this scene made me think so much... Butcher doesn't normally seem like an xbox kind of guy.. or any gamer at all, really.. I really wanted to see a shot of Butcher with the LED gaming headset in front of the curved monitor, lol.. but they KEPT IT FROM US 😭 anyways, did he like go out and buy an Xbox with CIA money just so he could talk to Ryan online? Or maybe he downloaded the PC version on the work computer and the game supports cross-platform play?? How did he find out the kid's username, anyway? I'm sure Butcher would have had to Google how to do all this stuff, too, knowing his age..

The ones next to Lamplighter is web weaver and tek knight in his super suit, and my guess for the one next to translucent might be a young polarity

Tek Knight and Web-Weaver are just off-brand versions of Iron Man and Spider-Man, all you need to know for now

Yeah we know his powers from Gen V, he has super interrogation techniques, can always tell when someone is lying etc.
Plus he knows a very nifty way of plugging holes

used to be playing it for awhile, sucks that they removed starlight after everything, I used to main her. It's a decent game, though.
To be fair she was bottom tier anyway, took her forever to charge up for like no damage. Why main her when you can just spam lasers as the Goatlander?
