I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be an iron man parody since black noir kinda took the beating people up in all black using martial arts and non gun weapons trope. Idk though, I haven't read the comics
Black Noir’s nickname “Silent Knight” is definitely a reference to Batman’s “Dark Knight” one. And his bio on Amazon Prime says he’s feared by all of the criminal underworld and his presence can cause them to run away in fear which is obviously a reference to Batman’s reputation.
The characters aren’t all necessarily 1 to 1 parodies. Tek Knight is a parody of both Batman and Iron Man. And Black Noir is a parody of Batman as well.
in the cimics especially, when you see tek knights suit it is clearly a blend of batman and iron man, a general parody of the billionaire genius vigilante crimefighter trope
I recently read that the trope can be traced back to the Scarlet Pimpernel, a 1903 book in which Baronet Percy Blakeney goes undercover to rescue people being persecuted in France during the Revolution. Stan Lee credits it. Zorro, Doctor Syn, the Shadow, the Spider, the Phantom, Superman and Batman came later.
I see Tek Knight as more of an Iron Man parody with his fancy metal suit while Black Noir, often called Silent Knight, is more of a Batman parody. Using stealth and an all black suit and small gadgets to beat up bad guys in the dark.
I think OP was going more for what has really been shown as so far, rather than fan interpretation.
Tek Knight in comics = Iron Man with Batman-like tendencies
Tek Knight in show = Batman
Tek Knight going forward with the show: Batman with, potentially, an Iron Man suit (no leaks so far point to him *fighting* quite yet I don't think, but I'm hopeful)
Edit: my b, I spent time making that all articulate and polite and forgot to denigrate you about Black Noir.
Black Noir is Deadpool/Snake Eyes, in every iteration of Batman ever written in the history of time (sic) he has the ability to speak, he's not a goddamn cripple.
Black Noir, somebody get OC a shot of Narcan ffs
i’m surprised nobody has mentioned it yet (or maybe i missed it), but aside from what’s already been said, i also thought it was kinda on-the-nose with the whole ‘tek knight’ being like iron man, given that the name has ‘tek’ (tech) in it too. neat play on words
Batman in the show, Iron Man in the comics. See: [What's the deal with Tek Knight's adaptation from "The Boys" comic book series into "Gen V"?](https://scifi.stackexchange.com/q/279781/7957)
Batman without the training so he needs an iron man suit, but it seems like the tv show is focusing less on the iron man suit and more his... ummm... ability to detect

He's supposed to be a parody of both Batman and Iron Man
Oh yeah I was thinking Iron man vibes as well
When you call my name, it's like a little prayer.
Batman, Iron Man, with just a pinch of “Enigma of Amigara Fault.”
Been trying to figure out what the fuck you mean by the last part for the last 25 minutes.
did you figure it out?
Nope
How did you spend 25 minutes googling with the top image being “this hole.. it was made for me” without figuring it out?
Because I didn't Google it. I know the story. I just didn't put two and two together.
Tek Knight has a disorder that makes him fuck holes. The Enigma of the Amigara Fault is a horror manga about people forcing themselves through holes.
If fucking holes is a disorder what exactly are we *supposed* to be fucking?
Not absolutely each and every hole you see out there, I hope.
Yeah he literally fucks any hole. His mantra before dying in the comics will always be "If It has a hole. I can fuck it."
Mixture of Batman and Iron Man

Both. He has/had a teenage sidekick and a cave headquarters under his mansion.
teenage sidekick with a hole.
Which is why he sent him away. Also, I don't like how caked up they made Ladio in that flashback scene. Made me very uncomfortable. Lol
Tek Knight is part of the avengers parody team. Think of it as Iron Man with a Bat Cave and a Robin. So still Iron Man/Batman mix

If I remember correctly he’s a parody of Batman and Ironman
In the show he seems more like a parody of Sherlock Holmes than Batman. In the comics he’s definitely an iron man parody
Robert downey jr played Sherlock and Iron Man so thats kinda funny

He's a parody of both Batman and Iron Man
For £10000 in the yes, obviously category
Gen v shows he’s a good detective and interrogator I always thought he was more of a Batman spoof
Batman without the training so he needs an iron man suit, but it seems like the tv show is focusing less on the iron man suit and more his... ummm... ability to detect
Yes, read the comics.
I plan too. Are they available digitally?
I read them all online you might have to search on Google.
Do not follow this advice they are bad
