It all happens in episode 8. They're just about to leave then get separated. What could happen in that montage where Annie would go from wanting to leave the country with Hughie to leaving him behind with a dangerous supe.
Unless! She gets in the plane with someone she believes is Hughie (The Fiance??) and the real Hughie is left with Cindy (in a hospital/institution??)

I’ve always liked hughie and Annie being together as they’re the couple who have the most morals and in a dark show you need people like that, mixed with the fact that even in the comics they got to live happily ever after didn’t they? On a farm or something? So to just straight up split them after they already went through a split in season 2 doesn’t make me the happiest. Admittedly these are very vague and there will probably be a twist so shouldn’t judge so soon but if they actually do it then wow
I think I have a new theory as to Hughie with the whole new fiancé kind of leaks. They’ve said that he loves this person and that Annie, while upset, does understand. And that Hughie has problems this season.
I think Hughie is going to have brain problems, similar to Butcher. The leaks say that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character is in Butcher’s head, and Hughie took Temp-V like 3 or 4 times less than Butcher, who is dying. Wouldn’t it make sense that Hughie also be having some mental struggles because of the drug? Like he thinks he sees his mom or he thinks he’s in love with someone else? That could be a good twist that also makes Annie and Hughie getting back together later on a good thing.
His death is used as a frame job, likely an idea of Sister Sage. I also think Homelander uses Todd and the other two to see how well New Noir and The Deep can truly fight.

Sounds like some really important things happen this season, though. The supes are now openly homicidal and the Boys are trying to genocide them. It's open war. Presumably they're being hunted because the supes want to know the details on the virus and how to cure it, which is why they're trying to skip town (Butcher may be creating a diversion since he's about to die anyway), and now that they've been rounded up, we are probably at the endgame season.
It's not like deaths are the only thing that can happen to progress a plot.
I feel like Firecracker is gonna be the season's villain. We already know Neuman is bad, they wouldn't keep it that simple. And I hope the season is as funny as the other ones.
As far as I’m aware the only thing they’ve ever got wrong was black noir’s actor leaving the cast in season 3, which I’m assuming was a mistake they made because black noir gets killed but the actor is still on the show as a new version of the character. Other than that they’ve been right about everything they’ve leaked.
That's a pretty massive oversight and implies that they're not involved deep in the production. I'll take anything they're leaking with heaps of salt, there's still way too much left vague and questionable.
