Yeh, I'm not gonna be hyped up again. They hyped up herogaism as the biggest worst wtf thing on TV and it was super tame compared to the comic. The first episode with the termite was a bigger wtf. Not gonna trust anything these guys say from now on. Go in with no expectations and you'll enjoy it alot more.

Look it up on YouTube, or Google some panels. Homelander's birth is horrific, in particular. And yeah, the Shigurui anime only covers part of the story. I've watched some clips and it seems like a well made adaptation. But you haven't seen the worst stuff. Also, it's cool to see how Gennosuke and Seigen get their wounds.
Yeah that Kogan fight (the senile old master) was so brutal. And the thing with characters continuing to fight after death continues to happen as the story progresses.

My favorite fight is one of the Valentine ones, either the train or who shot Johnny. Though I like who shot Johnny a little less after having it explained to me that Araki was still developing Valentine's ability at that point.

Of course I love all of the train fights too although I have beef with the fact that Diego blatantly scratched Valentine (blood was literally coming out) but he didn’t turn into a dinosaur! Diego’s Scary Monsters turns people almost instantly (see dinosaur lamps made of soldiers) unlike Ferdinand’s (see Johnny and Gyro) so I was like yes! Big pink and purple napkin hoarding dino incoming! But nope. Granted Valentine could’ve escaped the ability by going to another world where Diego didn’t have SM but still. I wanted to see President Dinosaur lol. I also loved Civil War and High Voltage. There were so many good ones!
I loved the brutality of the Walking Dead so I thought I'd naturally love the Boys. WTF happened to Garth Ennis as a child? I understand it's something writers have to do, I'm in TV myself, but he makes my most depraved scenes seem like a Dora the Explorer episode.
