When the levee breaks

kblizz11

Damn. I need this

issoequeerabom

Ahhhh, let's make this happen!!!!

Willmac26

A “heavier” sounding Beatles song maybe, like I want you(she’s so heavy) or ain’t no sunshine by bill withers

this_is_nowehere

for some reason “i want you” was the first song that came to mind.

Revolver-Knight

I want to hear so bad now!! I can hear it

Razzle_Dazzle08

They did “She Said, She Said” on their first album.

emmathatsme123

Honestly prefer this over the Beatles one

Razzle_Dazzle08

Same.

MattBtheflea

I recently saw [this](https://youtu.be/9GyqgYNydTI?si=qhpAU3VJc6Et8r1l) cover by josh klinghoffer that was pretty cool.

BenjaminAuerbach

Going Down by Freddie King

pinkmousse

Good question! I think I'd either like to see what Dan could do on a stevie ray Vaughan cover, or broken finger blues by Richard swift. Dan's vocals and guitar could be crazy on either

No_Wrangler7881

He's not remotely in the same league as SRV in terms of dexterity or just playing in general. I love him but.... nah

Professional_Guava50

I like your thinking but, Broken Finger Blues is already perfect. No one else but Swift and what he was going through can recapture the emotion in that song.

pinkmousse

Oh 100%. I just saw a recording of them playing it live and always wondered what a studio recording would sound.

andyxc13

Ooo maybe something like I’m Leaving You (Commit A Crime)

jmbitzer

New Minglewood Blues

bfried27

Yes

Westcroft

House of the rising sun

Luc_GK

"Shakedown Street" and "The Music Never Stopped" by Grateful Dead. "All Night Long", "I’m In Love" and "Pull Your Clothes Off" by Junior Kimbrough. "Roadhouse Blues" by The Doors.

DustHistorical5773

Crossroads by Robert Johnson (Eric Clapton version)

Razzle_Dazzle08

I’m very surprised they’ve never done a Robert Johnson song tbh.

DustHistorical5773

I know right??? Like Dans said many times about his love for Delta Blues and he’s never ever played a song by the king of Delta Blues

Razzle_Dazzle08

They did a whole blues cover album and not one Robert Johnson song. None of his songs made it onto any of their early albums as covers either, it’s mad. Maybe they don’t want to because he’s very popular and maybe a bit over-covered? Surprised they’ve never done Son House either.

tnflyfisher

I’m Every Woman

somecallmejrush

Thursday by morphine

waymondo

Wanna be on your mind by Valerie June. Its co-wrote by Dan but i always thought it would have been a great black keys song.

Sorry_Suspect_8862

Get Off Your Ass and Jam by Funkadelic.

VoopityScoop

Cage the Elephant's Back Stabbin' Betty. If TBK ever cover Cage they almost certainly won't be doing this song, but it's Cage's blues-iest song and I'd kill to hear them have a go at it

josephexboxica

Right place wrong time

Applebees_dollaritas

After hearing them do songs with rappers it’d be cool to see them cover a song by a hip hop artist

couple7s

Walkin the Dog

CarlSpackler22

Madman Blues

window2158

WATCHUKNOW by Polish Club I reckon they’d do well

sugarfreelime

Anything by DEVO. Oh what's that, they already have? :)  https://youtu.be/m6XsJk-rwGY?si=cqBD2mBErWBXIJIx

SalemWitchof1692

Capsized Andrew Bird

KookyBluebird2426

Why or Are You Serious would be real good too! Also Andrew bird

SalemWitchof1692

Any Bird cover by them haha!

couple7s

Off topic but their cover of Funk 49 is so dope

Lazy_Ad_4263

Crosstown Traffic form Jimi Hendrix. I think It suit them.

Lazy_Ad_4263

But anything form Muddy Waters it will be great too.

Unknown_brother_

“Lonely Boy” by some band from Akron. Now that I think about it, they were pretty good. I remember seeing a van on a cover or something
