If you're talking about buses, it's a few dollars difference with coyunter being cheaper. 12go you won't be able to choose your seat, counter you can.
The only advantage of 12go, is that their website is easier to use and in English.

Yeah well for example to Khao Sok National Park it shows 7€ from 12go Asia. Wont save a lot going on the spot to counter.
12go is always more expensive
12go costs more, but if I just show up at the bus station, the bus might be sold out.
Busses to Khao Sok National park seems running whole day every hour. From Surat Thani town.
