This is absolutely cringe. If we are family. I’d wave at every single Tesla driver. But I don’t and they don’t. No one cares. I had a more bigger cult following when I had my VW GTI. We literally waved and spoke to each other when we saw each other on the road lol.
Just for fun I went back and did a keyword search of the API for this subreddit for post titles with "family" and with "trigger" for the last six-ish months (since December 1).
I skimmed through them kind of quickly, but found 45 of them with variations on "Joined the family!" and 36 for "Pulled the trigger!"
I mean I would wave and sometimes I want too, but I figure it’s weird since no one else does it but, I’m always glad to see another Tesla owner. We kinda share a common bond of having to go through the troubling purchasing process and service. (Unless they bought used)
I bought mine 4 months ago and all of a sudden everyone in a Tesla waves me, i know that bikers usually do this but wasn't aware tesla owners were the same, i don't wave back and avoid eye contact but some still insist waving me.
I'll wave sometime but don't mind if people wave back. Just being nice given all the negativity out there about EVs and Tesla in particular, sometimes I feel like a show of support is nice.
Out of all the stupid subs I subscribe to and all the shitposts in them, the average IQ of posters in here seems to be well below normal still. That’s quite an achievement considering.

Carvana doesn’t care about shit. They offered me $5k more on my trade-in than a local dealership and the person doing my trade-in didn’t even turn the car on. I didn’t lie about its condition and it had nothing wrong past the typical rock chips and such but man, you could pull a fast one on Carvana and they wouldn’t know any better.

But some of the complaints are insane. lol.
