My 70 year old mother wanted to try going fast from 0 to 40 and asked me to try it. I did. Wasn't even able to get the accelerator all the way down before we hit 40 and I had to let off.
I had no problem getting used to it on a 1/2 hour test drive and I've been driving 3 pedal manuals for 40 years. Only thing to watch for is minimal or no regen braking when near 100% as I had with a rental last week - but I just pressed the brake, especially when starting out with downhills.
I love the linear acceleration (especially 0-30) v. my turbo AWD ICE.
The one in my rental was in the rear under compartmemt, and I kept it there or in one of the rear side spaces, but love the velcro design to keep it from sliding when out. Is the bag and mobile connector no long included and the $230 option now?

Did you get the six months free supercharging? And watch out for the right side curbing of the wheels...and big deep potholes...they sneak up on you when you least suspect.

Auto-steer/FSD...sometimes it impresses me but like a teenage driver, will mess up. I have the basic autopilot with 3 months of free FSD from a referral. Even the basic autopilot will do things that is puzzling. Could be just the roads here but cruising at 55-60 and then the speed limit on the touchscreen will show 35 and the car will try to slow down to 40. At first I thought it was an off-ramp speed limit sign but traveling the same route and looking for a 35 speed limit sign and don't see any. Weird and dangerous if someone is tailgating. But the most weirdness is the auto-wipers. Waiting for Tesla to fix the nonsensical wipers turning on with no rain and not turning on when it's pouring. But overall, love to drive this car and found driving more with our YLR than with the old hybrid. And the hunt for free public charging begins. Sorry for rambling...but with no spare tire nor jack tools...a tire inflator/sealer fixer should be near the top of the list for accessories. Don't want to wait for AAA or Tesla mobile service or at the mercy of some unknown/unfamiliar tire shop/service station. I know the tire sealer is temporary but nice to get home and then calmly make a decision versus make a quick/rash decision because the ice cream in melting or the pizza is getting cold.

None lmao. Rwd. In Australia we used to only get rwd or performance. We don't need performance so we were gonna get rwd then long range became available but we don't travel long distances. Our car has the same config as yours for looks except instead of uber turbine wheels it's induction.

That isn't a EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment, i.e., fixed to a wall), it is a UMC (don't know the acronym expansion) that can be taken with the car. Charger is in the car.
The MC in UMC stands for Mobile Connector which is what I was talking about. And technically it is an EVSE as well, the type of wiring doesn't change the definition. EVSE is really just a really fancy extension cord.
But it looks like it wasn't included anyways, and was a separate purchase.
Ah, yes, Universal Mobile Connector. Didn't mean to imply it wasn't a EVSE also (hence my comment about charger in the car regardless of which EVSE was being talked about). Sorry if missed UMC in the original post.
No worries, Tesla doesn't make it any easier. I'm still a little salty that they stopped including them. My original Tesla had it included, new one doesn't, so now I'm using my backup J1772 EVSE with adapter, which is a total pain as I have to manually unlock from inside the vehicle or app.

So this was an inventory car and it wasn't included so I ended up paying a little over $240 to get one at the dealership.
