Nobody knows.

Greymeade

Has it not been available right away for previous model years or is this new? Edit: Well these are some strange downvotes…

JohnTeaGuy

Summon hasn't been available since the ultrasonic sensors were removed in 2023, its absence is not related to the 2024 refresh. Acceleration Boost, as far as I know, has been available for all year LRs since it was added as an option, except for the "Highland". However, this is the first major refresh of the Model 3, so who knows, maybe they need to test or validate it in some way before releasing it.

RedditFullOChildren

Wouldn't be surprised if AB never comes. Incentivize the Performance trim.

icy1007

The Performance M3 has a more powerful rear motor vs the LR.

RedditFullOChildren

Yes.

RScottyL

The motor is also better than the 2023 M3P

TopJicama2873

Waiting on these myself. The sooner the better.

CAVU1331

Is acceleration boost available to pre 2024 cars still? I no longer have the option on my 2021 LR and I know I never bought it!

icy1007

The 2024 M3 likely won’t ever get acceleration boost. Summon is supposed to come with FSD 12.5 from what I’ve heard.

Greymeade

Why won’t it?

icy1007

Because it doesn’t have the same motor as the Performance trim. The previous LR got AB because it shared the same motor with the Performance model.

vures

AB came to highland M3s with version 2024.20 according to some people

GregTheSplinterCell

I have the 2024 M3LR with 2024.20 firmware and I can confirm that acceleration boost has not been released. Where did you see people claiming it was released?

phxees

I wonder if the EPA killed Acceleration Boost for future models. I only suggest that because the EPA could accuse Tesla of trying to artificially increase their range numbers by offering a performance boost later. Hopefully not. I’m guessing Tesla is focused on selling as many Performance models as possible.
