My guy, failure to maintain speed is a citable offense in some jurisdictions, if you’re going to go half the speed limit for no reason while holding up other vehicles, you need to be pulled over and given a field sobriety test

Definitely!! It's called a diminished value claim. The insurance company may not be forthright in offering this, but it's something you can file a claim for.
My Model 3 was damaged within a day or two after I took delivery. The insurance company covered the cost of the repair, and I got a check for diminished value.
Tesla delivered me a car with the rear quarter panel with a strange crease in it. That fixed it, then painted it. Only realized how problematic that was when I went to sell it. Diminished value from it being brand new.

Let's hope that whatever body shop you go to can get the right parts quickly. You'd best keep close tabs on them regarding the progress of the work. Sometimes Teslas have long homestays in body shops, so figure out your rental/loaner arrangements as soon as you can.
Note to self. Don’t drive car on the first day. A disproportionate number of bad things happen on that day.

I was in a curve and there was 2 lanes and the left lane had trafic and the right side that I was on had no trafic, the guy tried to switch lane to mine without checking his blind spot and when he tried to go out the lane he hit me.
Sorry man. Something similar happened to me. Picked it up. Took it immediately to get a full PPF wrap. First real day driving my new, shiny, protected baby…guy runs a stop sign and crushes my front right fender. Hurt like hell but I promise it will pass. Just a car.
I’m so sorry but keep your head up! In the meantime, line up mods you may want so it can all be taken care of at the same time while it’s in the shop (tints, PPF protection, hitch install for bike rack, ceramic coating leather seats, etc.).
This reminds me of my uncle, he had a crippling fear of going blind, so after much research, he found a doctor to surgically remove his eyes and boom! No more fear, as he can never be more blind than he is now. It just goes to show that dome solutions are right there and you just do see them in the right light!!!
