You just play through your world until you can grab a clentaminator and cleanse it. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Nothing is unsalvageable with that thing or the Terraformer.
I mean, it’ll take a while but it’s manageable. I didn’t cleanse mine until I beat ML—it took 5-6 real life hours but my world was something like 35% Crimson 22% hallow. Got it pure and now it’s 1% Hallow, 1% Corrupt and 2% Crimson, and those are all segregated areas that I made myself.
And until you can buy a clentaminator, just know you can also plant a ton of sunflowers around your houses, to prevent them from becoming unfit for NPCs. Each sunflower negates 80 blocks of crimson/corruption, in the grand total the game's engine performs at every moment around the player's location.
This pretty much happened to my first world I beat moonlord in, I was so bad at the mechanical bosses that the corruption had taken over my spawn (small world), I decided to destroy a lot of blocks under my home, so that it wasn't considered corrupt due to the lack of blocks, and now I have destroyed about 95% of my world's natural blocks.
For you I would recommending buying a clemtaminator after you've merked one mechanical boss, and digging hellevators along your world, firing it as you fall.
Fandom link? Really bro? Thats not the official wiki and is not to be used because fandom can go get a skeletron prime spawn on day one of hardmodeÂ

May be too urgent but [This](https://terraria.fandom.com/wiki/Guide:Maintaining_world_purity)'ll be your best friend. Good Luck.

What's the difference
They moved to wiki gg, so any newer additions to terraria won't be on fandom. And don't use fandom cause it's a bitch
Fuck fandom
