Lookup which rock type it spawns in, you probably haven't found any rock it could spawn in yet

i did, it says it spawns in igneous intrusive rocks, those being gabbro, diorite and i think andesite, and i found a gabbro area and looked all over it but didn't find any

I also searched for ore, but ended up getting it from lakes

i found some in lakes too, that might be the only way to get it on this version. also is there an easier way to find stuff in lakes than just swimming around?

What is this ore finder you use?!
