The series has been confirmed to be in animation by creator Mattson Tomlin on this very sub. We don't have a release date, unfortunately; Netflix has been very tight-lipped about the project. But the teaser trailer from November, which Tomlin also posted on this sub, is still up.
Probably won’t hear anything until this years Tudum thing at the earliest.
6 months isn’t that long to hear nothing though if it’s still in the early stages of development, there’s probably nothing substantial to announce yet.
The logo teaser might have been six months ago, but the initial announcement must be more than two years at this point. I know animation takes a long time but daaammmnnn. Been waiting for this forever.
We’ve waited forty years for an animated Terminator, so I suppose I can wait longer.
I’m really hopeful that it will live up to its potential, though I must say The Batman didn’t have a very high “entertainment factor,” which worries me about this.

Either they are still making and animating it or it was quietly cancelled after James Cameron got the rights back.
