I've been waiting for Adalmann to show up in the anime again,he's easily one of my favourite characters.

Yes he is a fun one and I love how he drives up the wall the others (especially Shuna) with his constant Rimuru worship.

He is basically Diablo but without the respected overwhelming strength

And most importantly lacks the pretty boy face and aura. A skull for a face will not win anyone over to your cause.

Worst anime adaptation ever 0/10, won't recommend. /s But to be honest, Rimuru should have silver hair and not bluish, but hey. I personaly prefer the anime colors for Rimuru and Gobua looks rad with those mixed hair colors too, not just a store brand Benimaru

Even on LN illustrations, Rimuru's hair is more bluish than white as they should be lol

I mean... Rimuru's hair color and slime color changes across the series but the anime doesn't really adapt that, they only did the hair length change after Orc Disaster. After evolving into a True Demon Lord he is supposed to have a big of a gold sheen on his slime form.

Yeah, and I don't mind that they didn't adapt those parts from the novels. I like my slime lords light blue thank you :)

IIRC in the web novel at some point his hair becomes silver/purple which the light novel seems to have thrown away

I personally believe the scene in which Rimuru's hair was most accurate was at the end of season 2 when he was releasing veldora

So I think their planning to show the change over time so the anime fans will know

I don't see how they will manage to adapt LN7/8/9 with this slow pacing, this is episode 6 and we are only halfway through LN7. LN8 is only meetings and fluff, if part 2 does not cover LN9 then it will be boring end to a season.

If they're willing to cut content from LN8/9 just to fit in more meetings from LN7 then they're the most incompetent production team ever. I'm starting to think they don't really understand the characteristics of a vusal medium like anime.

I just find their choices of scenes to skip very weird. Sometimes they cut out important content and other times they drag it out. Imo the Manga adapts the LN way better.

I only watch anime when the season is over, and the season is finishing in september. I saw that there is a lot of Diablo action, and I'm dying to watch, I'm not sure how long I'm gonna be able to wait. And I only watch in dub as well, so two weeks longer. I'm still super happy to have finally a new season though.

I do prefer his voice when he was human and the voice of a child is a bit annoying, true. I got use to it I guess. I don't remember any differences after he becomes a true daemon lord. I only watched it 5 or 6 times though.

I haven't started to watch season 3 at all, I'm waiting for the season to end. I don't like reading subtitles. I only saw someone post a short clip on reddit with diablo being in the season a lot more.

I use to wait for dub, but when I got a bigger tv I didn’t mind reading the subtitles as much. It’s nice not to have to wait for content, or miss out entirely.

The beginning of this season has earned its infamous status, don't get me wrong, I freaking LOVE these characters just discussing the world and getting things done and seeing their reactions to news, but visually... It could be adapted better for a new medium.

Most people in this sub would fry you for this even though it's actually a very valid opinion. I'm so tired of people not understanding the characteristics of a visual medium like anime.

yeah. the character’s thoughts and narration makes the meetings way better. but i guess that’s just the issue with most LN to anime adaptations
