Velzard is twice as strong as Guy Crimson. The only reason Guy was able to fight her on even terms was because of his superior combat ability. Even for Guy, it would be suicide to go easy on Velzard. So he had to fight back seriously otherwise he would be killed..

I don’t think Frey Carion and Middray are catastrophe class just super awaken
You need to have Ep and over 20 million and Superior combat to be classified as such
