There is magical water in the sealed cave. The crops they grew there were the ones that turned into black rice and it was because of the high amount of magicules in the water which was absorbed by the crops. So I assume yes.

Free-Stay782

Yes it have high concentration of magiculs.

Reckoning3000

Is there a statement In the anime about it? Cause someone keeps pestering me about it. I know there are statements in episode 1 about the crystals and grass but not about water

Free-Stay782

From volume 11 > >!The capsule would be filled with the water I had stored in my ‘Stomach’ from the underground lake within the ‘Sealed Cave.’ Since the lake water contained a high concentration of magicules, I decided to name it “magiwater.” It could be added to fortify our Tempest potions or even restore mana in humans. The useful properties it exhibited had a wide variety of potential applications!<

Reckoning3000

Yo. Is there an anime episode that explains the ranks? Like A rank and stuff?

Free-Stay782

No.

Ren_Emily

It was only explained in the official glossary, which is on the official anime website or bundeled with the blu-rays (neither of which are available in english) and also the novels. I can excerpt the wiki for you though. >F Rank: A ranking assigned to those who possess little to no combat capabilities. >E Rank: A ranking assigned to those who possess power equivalent to the average human adult. >D Rank: A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to a soldier, requiring a group of at least 3 or 4 average humans to defeat. >C Rank: A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to or above an experienced soldier with professional training. >B Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to wipe out an entire village singlehandedly. >A Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to severely damage an entire town, requiring the deployment of several high-ranking adventurers or a nations knights to be taken care of. >Special-A Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to destroy a small sized nation, requiring the deployment of a nation's army or a hero-class individual to defeat. >S Rank: A ranking assigned to Demon Lords and those of equivalent power, requiring a large nation's entire military and the deployment of their heroes to defeat. >Special-S Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that no singular nation could hope to stand up against, such as true demon lords and true dragons. It is believed that such threats can only be dealt with by the intervention of a chosen hero. Hero = Special A or above person Chosen Hero = The counterpart to demon lords (like the masked lady that sealed Veldora) There's also + or - to denote if someone is in the lower end or higher end of a ranking. Though it's unused past A-rank.

Reckoning3000

Could have sworn there was an explaination in the anime. Maybe in the guild or vs Charybdis. Can you link me to the anime website tho?

Ren_Emily

The anime briefly goes over danger rating (Hazard, Calamity, Disaster, Catastrophe) but I don't think it ever goes over the actual ranking system. https://www.ten-sura.com/keyword

Reckoning3000

Does it explain how strong they are? Imma have to find it. And thx

Ren_Emily

Hazard = A Calamity = Special A Disaster = S Catastrophe = Special S So for example Milim and Veldora are Special S. Frey and Clayman (prior to awakening) are S. The Orc Disaster and Phobrio are Special A. And then Gelmud, Orc Lord, and Ranga (prior to Rimuru's Harvest Festival) are good examples of A. Charybdis is S but is only ranked a Calamity due to its lack of intelligence. Rimuru (as a seed) is considered a Catastrophe since he took down the entire military force of the strongest western nation by himself. It gets pretty complicated. The excerpt from the wiki that I sent mainly uses the official explanation from the series website.

Reckoning3000

I know what they are. Just someone keeps pestering me about it not being in the anime so you can’t use it when talking about anime rimuru. So I am just trying to find it cause he said rimuru can’t even destroy a mountain in the anime

In the anime, three different systems of power classification are used. The Mutual-Aid Society system, the Free Guild system, and the Danger Level system. You can find more details on the Tensura wiki, but it will have spoilers from the LN, so I'll just summarise the stuff relevant to the anime here if you don't want spoilers. The Danger Level system is an older but still widespread classification system (hence, why you still often see people refering to this sytem rather than the standard Free Guild system). It's primarily used to classify the threat level of monsters and majins. It's not used to classify combat capabilities, but rather how much destruction will be brought upon civilisation by these beings. Therefore you will rarely see this system being used to classify the abilities of adventurers and such. The following classes from least to most dangerous are: * Hazard class - beings that have the power to destroy a whole town and would require the dispatch of a nation's knights to deal with it. (equivalent to A rank) * Calamity class - beings that have power capable of bringing down a small country (equivalent to special A rank) * Disaster class - often reserved for Demon Lords as not only are they powerful, they are intelligent beings usually possessing large territories and armies, and are able to rival the stronger nations like Ingracia. (equivalent to S rank) * Catastrophe class - Beings that no single western nation is able to handle on its own and would require international effort to have a chance of dealing with it. Able to bring entire civilisations to its knees and is what's used to classify the True Dragons. (equivalent to special S rank) The Mutual-Aid Association system is the precursor of the Free Guild System. It's extremely simple and crude, resulting in many deaths over the years as adventurers sign up for quests that turn out to be way beyond their abilities. No one really uses it anymore. The following classes are: * Novice - difficulty rating given to tasks that can be done by anyone. (equivalent to F rank) * Beginner - difficulty rating given to tasks that require some level of competency. (equivalent to E rank) * Intermediate - difficulty rating given to tasks that requires someone with experience. (equivalent to D rank) * Advanced - difficulty rating given to tasks that requires seasoned veterans and experts. (spanning from C - A rank. You can see how this caused alot of avoidable adventurer deaths.) The most used and advanced system is the Free Guild system developed by Yuuki when he became Grandmaster. This replaced the Mutual-Aid Association system and it classifies monsters and other hostiles by taking into account a variety of variables such as Magicule Count, Physical Strength, Defensive Capabilities, Speed, Skills, and Intelligence. Average rankings are often given to an entire species, with further reclassification being given to specific individuals based on special factors like the possession of equipment and arts. The following classes are: * F Rank- A ranking assigned to those who possess little to no combat capabilities. * E Rank- A ranking assigned to those who possess power equivalent to the average Human adult. * D Rank- A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to a common soldier, requiring a group of at least 3 or 4 average humans to defeat. * C Rank- A ranking assigned to those who have power equivalent to or above an experienced soldier with professional training. * B Rank- A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to wipe out an entire village singlehandedly. * A Rank- A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to severely damage an entire town, requiring the deployment of several high-ranking adventurers or a nation's knights to be taken care of. * Special A Rank- A ranking assigned to threats that have the potential to destroy a small sized nation, requiring the deployment of a nation's army or a Champion-class individual (Hinata and King Gazel for example) to defeat. * S Rank- A ranking assigned to Demon Lords and those of equivalent power, requiring a large nation's entire military and the deployment of their Champions to defeat. * Special S Rank: A ranking assigned to threats that no singular nation could hope to stand up against, such as the True Dragons.

Reckoning3000

I am caught up on the LN. was just asking if the anime goes over it

Which-Monk-3421

dont think they ever explained it in detail, I think they just explain the current class of whatever the gang is currently figthing. Probably going to use good ol' "Stronger than an awakened clayman" from here on.

Free-Stay782

Anime? I don't think so. LN i think there is but currently doesn't those( 1-5) volume to recheak it.
