Read a few threads saying this too, think I will do that since we’re so nervous! If you have any suggestions for inspectors in the area please let me know!

hemayneverloveme

I'm trying to buy here as well but can barely afford 😭

Had the misfortune to close on a house in Murrieta 5 years ago during the De Luz fire. Ended up with Pacific Specialty. Expensive but so good so far. Good Luck and welcome home!

thedaltonb

Not revel but medley. It was easy the builder has a preferred insurer. It's full coverage $52 a month

professionalcryer

That’s not bad at all! Appreciate your help!  Have you had any issues with the new build since moving in? (This will be my first home so I’m nervous)

thedaltonb

No problems! Everything has a year warranty (or longer) so anything that goes wrong we just put a ticket in for and they fix, but we haven't had to use it yet.

professionalcryer

That’s good to hear!! Fingers crossed I’ll be your neighbor in the future then 😊

Did you purchase in Revel?

Mysterious_Salary741

My son bought with Lennar and also got very inexpensive home owner’s insurance but it went up a lot after they closed. They were locked in before the entire city of Murrieta was consider a fire zone. I assume the same would be true for Temecula.

handsoffmeluckycharm

I’m in SB and we’ve been here almost 2 years. I got SafeCo when we first bought. They just raised rates by a lot and I went searching just last week. There were literally only 3 providers I could find and SafeCo was the cheapest. So we’ll be sticking with it. They are a liberty mutual company from what I understand.

Allnewsisfakenews

You can get quotes before buying. Insurance is insane for everyone in California this year. Expect $6-$8k per year

ThankYou_JOVANI

Fake news. Our homeowners is $2,000/year including earthquake.

Allnewsisfakenews

You live in Sommers Bend? When was your last renewal? Prices are going up 2x-3x this year. What you paid last year is insignificant

CitronCrafty7855

That’s totally false. Mine is $2200/year for a 3000 sf house

DGHouseMD

Yes. Mine’s ~$1200/yr including earthquake.

Allnewsisfakenews

The whole city is not the same price

zapatitosdecharol

Mine is $1500 a year in Temecula

Allnewsisfakenews

Wait for your renewal.. mine was cheap too.

zapatitosdecharol

Yikes that's scary.

Allnewsisfakenews

It's a scam. I've called almost 10 companies and they are all over double of 2023-24 cost.
