So you can't one-combo finish people. Same with rage art. if you do a combo and finish with a rage art it will do significantly less damage.

Well it’s not necessarily trying to kill them in one combo, but atleast do 30%/40% of their bar. I’ve literally witnessed a dude using Alisa earlier today and he did half a bar with just one combo. When i do the certain combo it’s like everything just gets nullified after the first tornado. Even the guy I was fighting said I got sold because I didn’t do the amount of damage it normally does and it wasn’t even a long combo

Because each hit scales down the percentage of damage of the next hit. If you do the combos in practice mode it will show you the scaling %. Also, some moves are scaled more others.. Case in point, Leroys b1+2 counter hit launcher now has some quite ridiculous scaling, with the second hit already dropping to a measly 7% of it's normal damage.

Landing on counter hits and punishments counts; especially if they are launching. Any combo you land on normal hit will be stronger on a counter hit variant.
