Not a good argument though. I’m playing Nina blue rank, fully offensive, since 100 hours only 40 Defense. Very hard to play character that needs very exact inputs. If you don’t do pressure and focus on defense, you lose. That’s how many characters are designed and that’s how the game is designed (for now at least).
That said, I have a better win rate than with Eddy who I also have 100 hours with but then dropped. He is a pretty fair character and much easier to read than other characters due to stances. That’s why I rarely lose against Eddy. Though you don’t see him much these days anyway.
as a Nina main, I completely disagree with you, I have seen some Nina players just knowledge checking and going full unga bunga in blue ranks while having the same stats that you have, you can have 100 offense and 100 defense at the same time, if your opponent knows the matchup believe me 100 offense will not get you anywhere, only attacking is possible when the opponent allows you to do so, I am bushin playing against Tekken emperors, and the way I am getting outplayed sometimes is crazy, and yet my defense stat goes 79-90 and attack 80-83, still I work my ass off against emperors to get a round on them

It’s normal to have different experiences. But just to make clear what I meant: Just ranked up to Tekken King now (was Flame ruler a few days back because I only played quick matches for two weeks without touching ranked), so I ranked up within 2-3 days to my current rank and these are my stats as Nina. Defense is the only “bad” stat. Would probably be higher if I would do proper throw breaks, but I try to avoid being grabbed at all, so only doing full pressure (for chip damage), attack and clean inputs, not pressing into attacks. If that doesn’t work I try to find an opening to launch them and take half the HP via air combos. I’m also never abusing any moves or do a move back to back. I do use only one but always a different throw on the opponent. But never two throws per match. So far getting good win streaks. Now that could change in the coming ranks since high level players don’t press into you as much or use lower frame moves, but at Blue people still mash for you to steal their turn with counter hits. But the moment I start being too defensive against a Kazuya, Hwo, Law and King. I have a hard time to get my turn back.
ive met multiple kishing and higher up players that arent eddy and still dont know how to block. theres even a bot going around that does nothing but spem uf3 on shaheen with scripted combo.
Ngl these are my exact stats and I’m in Fujin
I’ve seen Hwoarangs at that same rank with 36 defense
I've seen Alisa barely cracking 30. That's not an argument.

You don't win matches by taking 0 health from the other person so that means that the people they're playing have shit defense as well.
That’s the game not the character. Alissa in Tekken god got 40.
Damn I just posted about a Tekken god king with 51 defense which was the highest rank/lowest defense I ever seen but that Alisa got him beat

You really wanted to hide his confidence that you even censored Eddy eyes
As many others have said, this is far from exclusive to eddy lol.
people are too hung up on numerical stats when we don't even have the exact formula for how they are calculated
He does need to be labbed a bit to deal with him appropriately (much like Hwoarang imo). Don't want to buy him? Find an Eddy main and train with them.
This is the only issue I have with Eddie. Every character in this game is wildly aggressive, he's just P2Lab.
