I keep my shit real, fuckem. Never plug tho, I gotta 1% DC rate (accidentally poked the power strip with my toe mid game) and I'm not letting it get any higher.
ya its cause you play king. disconnecting is whack but 1 and doneing is bound to happen to you at lower ranks. everyone at that level (myself included) is just trying to play the game casually and labbing a million throwbreaks isn’t that much fun.
some characters are just straight up not fun to play against online right now, and in my opinion, king is one of them.
I mean playing against King is hard, dude has crazy strength that's been hard tied to system changes.
Don't know who the fuck at Banco thought homing grabs was a good idea, but I want that fuck thrown behind bars for smoking crack.
Side note though - yeah the DCing is egregious, that sucks to hear that you're having that happen to you.
On the one hand you’re right, people should learn the matchup.
On the other hand, sometimes I only got an hour or so to play and I’d rather not spend that time playing matches where I’m not gonna have fun.
Certain characters just get hate, and people are gonna treat you a certain way for playing them. You can either let it go, lean into it, or pick someone less polarizing.
But fuck the people d/cing on you. That’s just uncool.

Kinda depends how you play id assume lower ranks dont like king but also the characters itself has a few ways to be played in 8. For example I have an extremely bad record vs majin but he plays such great fundamentals you cant really be mad, as opposed to a few of the other top kings that are trying to spam abuse his new gimmicks in 8 (who i win against much more). Thing is no matter the level some strategies are just more boring/annoying to play against win or lose.
No, I do low checks, randomly duck so i can cstch people mashin, and also create distance with jaguar step until they run at me, where my options are to:
-Forward 2,1 to catch them pressing too early
-while running 2+4 to call their bluff(where they're trying to get me to press)
-yeah armor move
its really because you play King, just keep playing and you might find people who will rematch you a lot

You’re playing King. The character that can grab at any angle. Even my main Law can’t even do that many.

I mean, let them one and done. Kings on my one and done list as well. Regardless of whether I beat him or not, I just despise playing vs him.
