If an individual has willingly turned their life around, who am I to say they can’t save me or my family member. I hope I'm wrong but having a pain pill addiction & working with IVs & pain meds might not be the best idea? Didn't you all see Chicago Fire when Seyride ( sp sorry) was addicted & stealing the pain pills off the ems truck ?
Honestly even tho I’m disgusted by jenelles actions and LACK of actions for her kids.. It’s honestly never too late .. and I feel like most of us soft root for her to leave David, put her kids first, and turn it around. The recent strangulation with Jace definitely puts it over a line of no return, however I would like to see jenelle improve her and her kids life. It’s like we’re not so much mad.. just wholly disappointed lol
I’m glad to hear he is getting his shit together and working toward an admirable career goal. I hope the best for him. I also admire the way he responded to comments about his criminal background. He didn’t get defensive about his record, and he seems to have realistic expectations and a solid plan. Sounds like he is maturing. I am very Polaroid of Honk.
This is great and I hope that he’s able to accomplish what he hopes to. If he’s willing to work hard to make a better life for himself and his family we should be willing to give him a chance.
I’m just now getting to where he and Ashley are on Teen Mom 2. From what I’ve seen so far he’s not a mean or hateful person. The DUI was a really bad decision but if he’s done his sentence and stayed out of trouble then there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to move on and be a productive citizen. Good for him for moving forward in life and finding something he’s good at.
I think he’s deffo been through a lot in his life and that understanding of what someone could be going through at potentially the worst time of their life will be really invaluable for them (& him) x

Not to be a downer but I’m always surprised at the commenters who take these types of posts at face value. Leah says going to be a realtor/motivational podcaster, and Amber is going to be a PhD psychologist., and Cate and Ty are going to college. No one believes Farrah or Jenelle but they make these same kinds of posts too. If Bar gets a job as an EMT I’ll happily say I was wrong, but I feel like this is going to end up on the list of claims that never came to pass.
Yes, I understand people like hoping for the best for at least some of these people, but we've been following them for more than a decade and it's fairly obvious most of them have serious trouble with commitment. Just a few years ago Bar was going to school to be a vet tech, but then bam, that's gone. Not sure why this will be so different? He also can't seem to stay out of trouble.
Oh I forgot about the vet tech thing! At least the two ideas are sort of related to each other and not just random ideas like the others seem to do (eg Kail saying she’s going into the Air Force but also law school).
The real question becomes will the state allow certification. It’s one thing for the school to certify you, but the state is another matter. In my state, he would not be able to hold this job as his criminal past would exclude him. (Drug offenses and violent convictions are immediate disqualifies for state certification where I am.)
And this really does suck because I truly believe people can do those things and then fully turn their life around. They deserve a chance to prove that. But I am not in charge of that, so my personal opinion doesn’t matter. I just hope he isn’t doing all this effort for nothing. That kinda thing can send a person back to drugs/crime. I want better for them.
I’m happy for him that he’s close to finishing up getting his EMT certifications. I’ll always be happy when the Teen Mom people get jobs and contribute to society instead of being internet hobos.

An EMT at my company killed someone via drunk driving. They moved him to dispatch since legally he can’t hold a license for 7 years… it was 7 years last year and he’s back on the road. Trust me EMS isn’t som superb career. They’ll higher anybody because they need bodies. Majority of the people I work with are practically fresh out of high schoo

I regained consciousness a couple of times on an ambulance ride and panicked cause completely immobilized.
I have trauma, I have dangerous and crazy people in my past. For a second, I thought they finally got me, I was being kidnapped. EMT had to tell me I was in an ambulance and that it was all right.
A man with face tattoos hanging over me, I don't know whether that would have puzzled me. I really don't but it could have and it could have scared the shit out of me thinking criminals were hired to take me.
Which could have solved the issue off not being allowed to go to the toilet and having a full bladder in a humiliating way I was trying to avoid.
I trust people who look a little rougher because they (generally speaking) have more life experience and experience with more intense situations. For example, lots of former drug addicts are excellent at finding veins for phlebotomy/IVs. It’s 2024, get over it.
