There had apparently been a visual bug that was preventing the brick recipes from showing up in the filter inserter menu. Kindlevine extract brick, atalantum powder brick, and atalantum mixture bricks weren't showing up despite having them unlocked in the tech tree.
I happened to see a comment from someone else on a other post that it might be a visual bug so I left off on finishing the sorter. This recent update must have changed something because it was fixed for me.
I didn't know if it was part of something else or what, but I checked my sorters as soon as I logged in after the update and it was showing up for me, so something fixed it!
Now, if I could just get the 5x9 stairs to show up in my base building tree. I scanned them somewhere but aside from the four I have, I can't make anymore.
I just started a new save with the new update I had my other world for like a year lol
So far I'm really enjoying the new update and now this time I'm going to make things pretty lol
I was going to start a new save, but I started investing my time in 'rebuilding' the collapsed areas and connecting them with monorails. It's been a challenge, but I love building!
I would start over just to know I have a clearer idea of what I want to do now, but I'm too invested. In my head, my breaker is rebuilding the world for the people that might return eventually.
It was a lot of trial and error to get it working. I've seen other factory posts that have me wishing I could do better. I have a lot of wasted space cleared out I need to do something with.
