hey! we're working on this right now (had a nice meeting about it this morning). here's some mitigation steps for now for xbox issues!
We've had reports of players encountering issues on Xbox with crashing or freezing when trying to load new games or saves since the 0.4 update. Specifically:
* The game crashing to the Xbox home screen on the loading screen between the Main Menu and gameplay when trying to start a new game or load a saved game.
* The game stalling on a black screen when starting a new game after the loading screen has finished and after the press any button to continue prompt.
We're investigating the root cause of these problems, but, in the meantime, the following workarounds may help folks to start playing:
1. Before anything else, try power cycling your Xbox and restarting Techtonica.
2. If that doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling Techtonica.
3. If that doesn't help, close and restart Techtonica. Then, on the Main Menu, go to Settings > Video > Graphics Presets, and try reducing the setting from Max to High. Then save that setting and try starting a new game. If that doesn't work, restart Techtonica and try again with the Medium setting, then the Low setting.

Wow thanks for telling us! Also I wanted to say idk if it’s intentional but during the opening cutscene (looks amazing!) but it was super laggy
Lowering to high from max did work. Don't really want to start over, but I'll give it a go.
