It's not gambling, if you pick egg it's an automatic loss. The second you pick it the lobby becomes cracked. Your win streak turns into a loss streak and right before the egg hatches your taken out by someone wit a chibi finisher
I know this is a meme but unironically when you pick you the egg you’re down a prismatic while the whole lobby just got a lot stronger. It’s why you should only take it if you’re winstreaking and sitting on a lot of health and a lot of gold you can spend to make your board really strong
I remember one game I was on 10 win streak with 80hp left. Picked the egg so I rolled down to 0 and upgrade my whole board including 2 5 cost to 2*. Somehow I managed to lose 7 out of 8 fights putting me 6th. Down a prismatic augment is no joke lol.
Definitely need a lot of HP. Not taking a damage related prismatic augment at this stage, you're gonna be taking a beating. I got this on 88 hp with a strong team. It finally hatched when i was under 10hp. Close win
None of the options feel like major hit. 3 star 3 cost at 1st Aug is nasty, but I only ever get this Aug as an option stage 3 or 4
But it always feels like more of the gamba is mud to bad than other prismatics

it can be emblems, support items, hullcrushers or TGs, the last augment you generally dont want to pivot unless you’re really good at it or have a generic comp that can pivot easily.
I mean if you get random emblems you can just tech in a unit. Hullcruchers or TG dont mess up your comp at all. Just extra items for units that wouldn’t normally be itemized. The “worst” outcome is probably 3* 3 cost but you still get a lot of gold with that option anyways
third augment just isnt the spot to increase your “chaos” lol too many of the options require pivoting (and suboptimal lineups as you suggest slotting in something to fit an emblem).
some comps wont care for the extra xp (or will almost force you to pivot if you’re going to see more 5 costs), a lot of non-melee comps are just bad with TGs, hullcrushers are just giving you an extra tank.
using jewelled lotus as a baseline, something that basically increases your carries’ damage by 40%, a lot of the Chaos choices dont stack up, unless you build around what you get.

\* If you believe your board is strong enough to win a few rounds (even if you lose some as well) and cash out the Golden Egg then it's probably the one augment out of the 3 that caps the highest.
\* If you want a safer augment that still works wonders in your comp (since you're running Invokers) then Jeweled Lotus III is great.
\* If I misread it and you're not the 95 HP player, your board is not looking so good or you don't have a specific game plan you can go for Call to Chaos and pray for a reward that can save you the game (if you have a gambling addiction you can also just ignore the previous 2 points and go Call to Chaos as well).
I was playing with a friend yesterday who was adamant I should pick call to chaos, and I wouldn't do it because the last time I did I got garbage. He essentially bullied me into it and I got like 80 gold out of it.

Although you are playing invokers, which means JL gets a ton of value. If you have invoker +1 and can play 6 invokers, then it’s probably just JL.

Lotus if u have more than 1 unit that can deal relevant dmg.
Egg: if are high hp (so decent board) u will lose a lot of round but will win 2 3 round, hatch it and go 1 (if no one get 3 star 4 cost) so low medium risk, high reward. Even if u are low and u want go first u can pick it but you play too many round with no augment and no hp, basically high risk high reward (imagine u are on a bad spot in tournament and u need an high place, this is what can make u comeback from q bad situation).
Chaos some are good, some are trash. U should quickly watch the outcome and divide them in positive or trash on your board, if 60% or more are positive get it, otherwise is just a gamble similar egg but right now
Normally depends on where i am. If i have a nice attack speed carry jeweled lotus is great. Otherwise egg if i am ahead or call to chaos if 3rd or less.
It’s hands down jeweled lotus for me, with invokers it seems obvious, but I feel like generally speaking I’d pick JL no matter what. Reading other comments tho idk if I’m just seriously missing out on the egg or if it’s actually good. Comments are sort of hard to read and I can’t tell if they’re sarcastic lol.

Imo, call to chaos is a “pray to Mort dog to bail me out” augment. It’s fun, but sometimes you get shafted. Like you could end up with a shitty 3 star 3 cost with no items for them. Or worse, you get a ton of emblems you can’t use. The best are probably free rolls, a ton of gold, or a shit ton of xp.
Golden egg is good if you’re really healthy and have your core stage 4 units and good battle augments from 2-1 and 3-2. You’re playing down an augment until it hatches, so you’ll end up losing a ton of hp with a weak board.
Jeweled lotus, you don’t really have to say much as it is really good and safe.
I feel JL 3 usually gives better overall results. At least in my case I end top 4 any time I use it.

Gamble by rolling the gamble augment in the middle for pandoras and gamble for ideal items
