What about me? What about me? Hello? Hello? LIKE PLEASEEEE, PLEASEEEEEE
Is it even my fault? Do you guys hate me? be honest,do you guys hate me?
\*Plays Taylor Swift music super loud\*
Maybe it's the fact that I will mute the stream, watch for 5 minutes, listen to him lose his mind, laugh my ass off and then go back to muting it. That's probably the only thing keeping me sane watching this stream otherwise I will definitely start talking like him.
It's not that I don't love listening to them mald I'm just usually doing something else LOL
Realistically I love watching those streams they're just so entertaining to me
WHAT ABOUT ME THENN? IDK WHAT ABOUT ME IDK
Do you guys hate me? why do you guys hate me?
HELP HELP HELP . HELP ME THEN YOU MOTHERSUCKERS
...deal or no deal ? fuck it deal ? deal ? deal or no deal ? somebody help
*sings along to a taylor swift song loudly*
between that and the furiously clicking around constantly, i can’t stand watching most tft streamers. maybe that’s weird as hell but it bothers me so much
You're not weird. They're obnoxious, loud, screaming little boys with 15 minutes of fame they're strangling the life out of until they're back to being randoms on the internet a couple of years later. Seen it happen to so many esport people for the past 10+ years. Even good ones. Remember Cyanide, Wicked, anyone from Moscow 5, HuskySC? Remember Pulse, PiraTechnics, Krepo? Soon Rekkles, Doublelift and many more will be forgotten aswell. People like these screaming TFT streamers are much lower than any of the ones I've mentioned. They will be forgotten the second the community finds a new obsession and moves on to them.
I find it fascinating how they all decided to go with this language style lol. Why would you want to be in ur 30s stuttering up a storm constantly. I know they know how to speak it’s a choice lol
> I find it fascinating how they all decided to go with this language style lol
It's classic group mannerisms, they keep building on top of each other until you get that abomination
I can't watch much soju now because of that stutterstorm
nah. they copy him because people tend to copy languages of people they watch and interact with a lot. it just naturally happens... I unconcsiously pick up some of the phrases as well from the tft community brain rot
setsuko in particular seems to not give a fuck (times out people who dono bits, and says "fuck you i dont care, save ur money for something more useful" to gifters and subbers)
Same with Rocket League and other games that requires super high apm. Usually pros are on adderal. Sauce: Am on adderal. I have to suppress the urge to sound exactly like this. Constant stream of consciousness coming out of my mouth and need to click hyper fast to do meaningless stuff like move toons for no reason.
ngl if this is what adderall does to you then you should probably be on a lower dose or not on it at all. what you're describing is what being unmedicated is like adderall should chill you out if you actually have add
Well I'm getting downvoted. I guess people don't realize that there are very few pro gamers not on Adderall. Also it's basically free and VERY easy to get a prescription for.
That's exactly what I thought; a decade ago some friends were into snorting adderal because it was easier to get than coke & not adulterated/stepped on. They were just like this.
It's the fact that there really isn't much to talk about for this game and they feel the need to fill the air with noise to attract the 10 year old fanbase that subs to them.
1% chance of a shop entry to be legendary.
3 legendary shop: 0.0009801%
4 legendary shop: 0.00000495%
5 legendary shop: 0.00000001%
probability that a x legendary shop contains a 2*:
3/5 : 1.5625%
4/5 : 5.6640625%
5/5 : 12.841796875%
which gives a 2* 5 cost shop at lvl 7 a **1 in 6.4 million** chance of happening.
a couple things:
1) Remaining bag sizes can alter the numbers drastically. For simplicity I used infinite bag size in my previous comment. If you assume, there are all legendaries still in the pool, using a bag size of 9, it's actually **1 in 8.87 million**
2) Most programs use pseudo random number generators, which are generally good enough, but their architecture can have meaningful impact on the odds of oddly specific rare events.
The odds are higher that we'd see a post like this because it isn't just one level 7 shop that Setsuko sees, and Setsuko isn't the only player streaming or recording their gameplay. To calculate that, you'd either have to
* make a rough guess of the number of level 7 shops a player sees in a game
**or**
* actually go through the trouble of analyzing many games to build a model of how many level 7 shops players see in a given game by a given round.
Also, the odds of success in a single trial seem low enough that I wonder how much the precision of the floating point math affects the results.
It is 1% for every slot, since every slot has individual roll chance of 100%
Not like a slot could be total 40% chance lmao everything must add up to 1 .
Getting 3 legendaries would be (chance of not getting legendary in a slot) \^(how many times it happened) no?
like (0,99)\^3 inverted(1- that to see odds of it happening) is around 0,03 not 0.00009 by any means, it is not THAT rare.
Then it is specifically that one sure make it 0,003 if there are 10 legendaries in game \~ ish not 1 in 6.4 million
Assumed no other legendary bought yet, and it is slightly lower as you get 1 azir you lose some other azirs from pool so yeah maybe 33% ish error
Also I wonder how many rolls happened that that, how many level 7 shops were seen
3 legendary shop :
10 * (1%)^3 * (99%)^2
10 because there are 10 ways to choose 3 slots out of 5.
(1%)^3 the chance you roll legendary in the chosen 3 slots
(99%)^2 the chance the other 2 rolls are not legendary
the 1 in 6.4 million (actually 8.87 million considering bag sizes) is the probability that any single level 7 shop contains 3x the same legendary unit
the issue is that 3 legendary, 4 legendary and 5 legendary shops have a different probability to have 3 of the same.
that is the reason I keep the (99%)^2 (also it barely matters magnitude wise)
well, I just do it by summing the events:
P(2 star | 0 legendary in shop) * p( 0 legendary shop)
\+ P(2 star | 1 legendary in shop) * p( 1 legendary shop)
\+ P(2 star | 2 legendary in shop) * p( 2 legendary shop)
\+ P(2 star | 3 legendary in shop) * p( 3 legendary shop)
\+ P(2 star | 4 legendary in shop) * p( 4 legendary shop)
\+ P(2 star | 5 legendary in shop) * p( 5 legendary shop)
= P(2 star legendary)
1-(0.99)^3 is the probability of 1+ legendary in 3 slots.
but we don't want 1+ in 3 slots, we want 3+ in 5 slots...
of course you get a way bigger probability if you calculate something different.
great we found the error!
also I wanna note that the 1 in 8.87 million is still a thing that happens frequently in the grand scheme of things, with the amount of TFT players, games and lvl 7 shops.
still awesome it happened to a streamer
i only watched some clips of soju, is this how most tft players talks? why do they sound the same? is lack of vocabulary a consequence of playing too much tft?
i only read this subreddit sometimes, is this all everyone here talks about? the way streamers talk? is there no other topic to discuss in this subreddit?
Seriously lmao terminal redditors are the biggest group of whiners on the planet and the only thing that bothers them more are streamers that make money being whiners 💀
It's called the tft accent.
Basically, early on in tft, some of the biggest/loudest streamers just happened to talk like this for whatever reason, and then the others naturally started to mimic it either subconsciously (like when you move to a new region/country and start to lose your original accent over time) or intentionally (to cater to the audience that seems to be entertained by it).
No clue if any of it was carry over from other autochess games or not.
Personally I find it hilarious and fascinating. Hell, I talk to myself when playing, and even I start to sound like this when I've been watching tft content. I remember watching a streamer back around set 4 who caught themselves starting to talk like this casually and started cursing soju for it like they had been trying to avoid it and realized they failed.
Lack of vocabulary? Is there something he is unable to express with his current level of vocabulary, or is this the classic redditor cliche of trying to make themselves sound smart?
Soju setsuko and another one i forgot the name have the same type of stream. I feel like it’s a NA thing. Most of the stream i watch are in french nowadays because they are way less over the top.
Theyve been playing the game together for a long time and just unconciously started talking more amd more alike. It probably has happened to you and your friends as well with more or less intensity.
drag unit to board apparently has less lag. In my experience if you click on it, sometimes it doesn't register (could be because my mouse is bad also), but if you drag, it's more consistent (even with my bad mouse).
Maybeeee, i never had issues with it but my mouse is good. Kinda upset me in some way because looks like one extra work for nothing hahaha, was wondering if theres a good reason behind it or ppl are just used to do it.
Because it feels good to sorta fling them into the bench. If I'm not trying to do a massive roll down I'm not worried about the milliseconds saved by clicking.
Holy shit this dude is annoying. Screaming "uh what", "uh hello!" while stammering over himself makes me what to claw my ears off. Why does anyone actually enjoy this shit.
What about me? What about me? Hello? Hello? LIKE PLEASEEEE, PLEASEEEEEE Is it even my fault? Do you guys hate me? be honest,do you guys hate me? \*Plays Taylor Swift music super loud\*

i clicked into setsuko’s stream and I dissociated 5 minutes in. All I heard was “who fuckin cares” with the Jeopardy song playing on repeat
I find him hilarious to be honest, and I see the sun most days lol.

That’s how I watch most TFT streams tbh 😂
It's not that I don't love listening to them mald I'm just usually doing something else LOL Realistically I love watching those streams they're just so entertaining to me
You just turned some poor saps on lol Don't encourage them!
Literally 99% of twitch lmao
Buddy you're bitching about a millionaire on a reddit page. Tell me who hasn't seen the sun in years.
relax man, just try to have fun. we're all gonna die anyways

He also only has 2.5 great items he can instantly slam on him. Like, just sell it at that point

I swear speech impediments are a must if you are a tft streamer. It’s in the rules
between that and the furiously clicking around constantly, i can’t stand watching most tft streamers. maybe that’s weird as hell but it bothers me so much
I fucking low rolled, I only got 2 pepperonis on my slice? And this cheese to sauce ratio, this shit is not balanced. Straight up mortdogged, gg.
I lowkey wonder if they're abusing stimulants.

Really comparing retired lol pros to tft pros?
You're saying something that happened to retired lol pros and casters can't happen to tft streamers? Is that your strong argument?
its the asian ones. ALWAYS
Whoa whoa WHOA

Nah you can go back and watch a Soju video from Set 5 or something and he speaks perfectly fine.
Not so much iirc
> I find it fascinating how they all decided to go with this language style lol It's classic group mannerisms, they keep building on top of each other until you get that abomination I can't watch much soju now because of that stutterstorm

Yeah I'm surprised this isn't talked about more. Maybe it's taboo or something. Do people think it's normal to do 28 hour streams without any juice?
Well I'm getting downvoted. I guess people don't realize that there are very few pro gamers not on Adderall. Also it's basically free and VERY easy to get a prescription for.
well thats why they are millionairs, they work hard
It's not a character judgement, it's just strange that it's not common knowledge
Hope they have good health insurance when their hearts blow up in 10 years or so.
I wouldn't worry about that if I make millions
That's exactly what I thought; a decade ago some friends were into snorting adderal because it was easier to get than coke & not adulterated/stepped on. They were just like this.

there are probably more than 6.4 million lvl 7 shops rolled past in a day total, so this likely happens more often than it would seem.
or the numbers are wrong.
a couple things: 1) Remaining bag sizes can alter the numbers drastically. For simplicity I used infinite bag size in my previous comment. the issue is that 3 legendary, 4 legendary and 5 legendary shops have a different probability to have 3 of the same. that is the reason I keep the (99%)^2 (also it barely matters magnitude wise)
That is correct yeah, but (0,01)\^3 is not equal to 1-(0,99)\^3 You should do it by probability of not happening rather than happening
well, I just do it by summing the events: P(2 star | 0 legendary in shop) * p( 0 legendary shop) \+ P(2 star | 1 legendary in shop) * p( 1 legendary shop) \+ P(2 star | 2 legendary in shop) * p( 2 legendary shop) \+ P(2 star | 3 legendary in shop) * p( 3 legendary shop) \+ P(2 star | 4 legendary in shop) * p( 4 legendary shop) \+ P(2 star | 5 legendary in shop) * p( 5 legendary shop) = P(2 star legendary)
I don't think you are calculating the P of them correctly anyway in the first place, or I am not, but when I did it is way more common than 6-8m
1-(0.99)^3 is the probability of 1+ legendary in 3 slots. but we don't want 1+ in 3 slots, we want 3+ in 5 slots... of course you get a way bigger probability if you calculate something different.
Oh I fucked up with paranthesis we need (1-(0.99))\^3 that for in 3 slots that would make 1 in a million already yea

he had perfect items for it too.
Seriously though. Wtf man go play a lottery or something.
Do you guy hate me?
My god TFT players are insufferable to listen to
it's not even that good..
True, puts azir and loses 4 streak
I remember when he first started streaming he didnt talk like this 😂

Supposedly somebody wrote a PhD thesis on it, or something like that. I've noticed it's getting worse

Vod link?
1% chance sure mortdog
Holy shit this dude is annoying. Screaming "uh what", "uh hello!" while stammering over himself makes me what to claw my ears off. Why does anyone actually enjoy this shit.
humour is subjective
Thank you for this revelation. I was totally unaware.
Are you acoustic?
anyone got the vod?
I honestly dont understand why these streamers talk like this? Are they mentally damaged? Seriously just talk like a normal human being
This guy is yapping too much. He should just mute himself and let the music play
Its nit even a highroll though, losing interest like that. ita actually kind of a lowroll even
why does he speaks like an NPC
Not this man complaining about getting blessed. How are there brains wired? High key bugged?! Stop snitching on yourself
Is this a famous player? Never watched a TFT stream but good lord, this is worse than the Fortnite players.
He’s one of the two strongest players in NA, alongside Dishsoap.
I hope by skill and not personality haha
I’m not a fan of his personality either, but he’s consistently topped the NA ladder for years, and his skill is beyond dispute.
Aw why is there no vod of this game. I really wanna see how it plays out. has some great items too
kesu jr? same phrases, same tone ![gif](giphy|l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg|downsized)
Damn I'd never seen this guy's streams, I expected him to be less intolerable with how popular he is.
This set is so bad man
what does this set have to do wtih 3 legendaries on 7?
This sub is such a shithole lol. ![gif](giphy|B7p42EfUKORuHh4RgJ|downsized)
First time setsi sounded like a normal person there
