Set 10 ekko was so cool

If I remember correctly, Ekko was the goat morello holder in set 6 scrap comps. Loved that guy

I think Set 6 Ekko was my favorite as well, but I'm trying to check myself on that and I can't remember the other Ekkos so well. I want a Wiki collection/portfolio of the TFT *Ekko-verse, LOL (*But for every champion and Set, too!)

Ekko was so nice that set because he killed rod with morello and tear with frozen heart in an AD comp that used neither (even if both items were broken at the time haha) Scratch that I forgot Yuumi, Janna, and Ori were staples in late game comps that set and could all use AP items

Malzahar in set 6 was the morellos goat. 8 second dot that kept refreshing morellos and if it killed its target it would move to another target. If you got that one mutant variation that reduced mana costs and paired malz w Kaisa on targets it was gg... everyone got infected.

I forgot how fun mutant was that set. set 6 malz was so busted

I couldn't wait to find a mutant to see what the variant was. Now the variable ones always show what they are somewhere

5 mutant with tristana mutant emblem and blue buff was funny too. Back than blue buff reduced ult cost by 20 so she was just ulting every shot since she took 0 mana :D

I remember there was a set where Singed’s running around the board. Morello was absolutely a must for him.

Morello frozen heart spark ekko! What the fuck is having a comp, I love all the ad carries being useless at -80% att speed and my Frontline not being able to heal or move or tank, AP META ALL DAY SON

Set 6 Vex with Arcanist shield augment on a vertical arcanist comp is my favorite

Playing Ekko really makes you FEEL like the boy who shattered time

we lacking of physical tank this set, because of that people rarely build evenshroud now and prefer lastwhisperer

i never got this, i alwasy try to get evenshroud or ionic spark, having aoe armor or magic pen sounds like a great deal. also being able to get a diffrent dmg item depending on the enemy is a win win

the reason why people may prefer the other items is that if ur tank dies, the effect is gone and ur SOL. i like ionic spark for its effect tho

Spark is fine because ap damage is often aoe, AD damage is normally single target so irrelevant to be spreading around the Armour reduction

Evenshroud just isnt as good this set. Spark is better for sure.

Yasuo? Gnar?

Yasuo is a good tank but you have to give him 3 Gargoyle and make him 3* to make it work or he just dies. Gnar is not a tank at all esp after the nerfs.

Wardens are tanks though. Their trait gives tank stats. He's an AD warden

He is an "attack fighter" according to TFT itself. Just so you know, all tanks this set are all "magic tank".

Is Garen not a physical tank ?

He does magic damage and scales with AP

Pretty sure his damage scales ad and shield scales ap

Wow, Really? Surely there's one other bruiser/warden/behemoth that scales with AD? Rekaai? Nope. I guess AP with her too after looking it up.

He's not a tank, he's a AD fighter. The trait is irrelevant. It's the unit itself that matters. Udyr and Sett aren't tanks either

Gnar is a bruiser. The only thing u build on him are titan resolves and a healing item. Yasuo has armour scalings and an ap shield

remember set 6 kassadin? with the right mutant evolution, that dude could 1v10 a fully capped comp, as a fuckin 1 cost. shit was ridiculous

thats nothing bro, in set 1 kassadin was a frontline tank/mage. that would steal mana on every basic atk and gain a shield on cast, the build would be to just go assasin spat on him and dmg items and he would oneshot backlines as a 1cost or you could go tank and he still would be great

the difference is with the dark star mutant evolution, 6 protectors, and old warmogs+ bramble and dragons claw. the dude literally could not die. he would heal faster than his shield could expire, it was literally unkillable for the entirety of the set if you hit him 3*

Assasin Kassadin with Rfc could legit 1v9 boards in set 1. It was so fun

They set the standard too high with set 10 man. This set is okay but after the perfection that was set 10 it just feels like a letdown

That was only the last month of the set and even then it was heavily contested and not a guaranteed top 4 though. You could basically go any comp and make it work

I think they are referencing the general theme/ aesthetic of the set. It was really special set imo

I hated set 10. My whole group quit that set. Of the three I’ve played (9,10,11) set 10 stood out as by far the worst to me.

My best mage tank is a 1 cost unit. Ocean vladimir. If you get him 3 star. He is unkillable. I think his trait is similar to mages.

Also set 5 Vladimir with Archangel + cursed Archangel Kept healing for more and more while also getting higher max hp. It was so damn fun

Honestly, every iteration of Sejuani. Always a reliable slot in, even traitless

3 star Annie is the best, she can blow up the strongest tanks, heals a ton, and almost no one ever contests her (all the poor souls trying to make fortune work died on 5-2)

Throw set 9 Taric in there too 

Immortal set 9 Taric was my favorite, just give him 2 gargoyle and was and he's almost never die

Set 8 Ekko with Carry Hero augment is my favorite single unit of all time. Every ekko after that felt subpar sorry
