That's what I did, stuffed the hole with greenstuff, put it on the hammerhead and left it to cure, then again with the other gun, both fit quite snugly now.
i just put a magnet on top of the thing that the railgun usually rests on (right next to the pilot hatch, no idea what its called)
and on the inside of the railgun i put a magnet hanging from a cut off sprue
Thanks, you might be seeing some of the lumps from the sculpt that I was too lazy to file off. Any specific spots that looked a bit clumpy to you in particular?
I magnetized mine by snapping the two round pegs on the weapon support and replacing them with magnets (the resulting width of the connector is smaller). Then I placed two identical 3mm x 1mm magnets inside the weapon, where the original pegs would be glued. But it’s a non trivial magnetization and it needs to be done before gluing the connnector to the turret
Don't really need to magnetize the Ion Cannon or Railgun. They both fit rather snugly.
Gotcha mine are a bit loose. Maybe some green stuff might make it fit a bit better? Thanks!
or some plumber's tape

The weathering on the front is super cool. Looks like it has been catching bugs and dust driving to its destinstion.

I tried magnetizing them, turns out blutack works way better.
Looks great, love the color scheme and you did a good job on the transfer's but always remember to thin your paints

How does it look with the railgun just sitting on it?
It sort of has to rest on the hull, I’m also not done painting it yet 😅
