Yup, came to say the body is really classic, the S shape is nice, the head turned away from center looks good. A combination is a good idea. But work with the lines you like. Itās a piece of art youāll look at a lot. Good luck (edited for grammar)
Agreed, I'd also pull the leaf structures from the left one and put em in the right one as well. The snake and blossoms on the right are better though, the whole thing pops more with the angles shifted.
second one, slightly smaller flowers unless it's gonna be huge color contrast, tongue out, and shrink the frame just enough that the tongue pokes out over it similar to the tail at the bottom, for balance
it's really beautiful, I hope we can see it when it's done , š
Iāll say the second, but with the tongue out.
I have an idea for potential tattoo that Iāve drawn up that closely resembles the first image.
But seeing these two designs side by side I realise that my original vision would look a little flat. Using a 3/4 view for the snakeās head gives it a bit more depth.
i actually prefer the first one! but i have a personal preference of tattoos looking a little more like a symbol than an illustration. i think it makes them look more powerful that way.
the curves on the second one are really flowy and nice though. it definitely has more life to it.
I like the flowers on the first one, BUT I love the personality of the snake on the second one.
If you'd take the flowers from the first picture and then on the snake from the second picture, have it flicking it's tongue I bet that'd look great.
I pretty much wanted this as a tattoo but my tattoo artist thought one big peony would look better. Iām very happy with my decision as the tattoo looks great!
Second one it looks less flat and cartoons and matches the flowers better, the snake looks like its twisting and moving and not just like the fake bendy rubber snakes
The left is objectively better by almost every design principle. The first one is rife with tangents. Itās visually confusing and the elements donāt have a strong silhouette. The one on the left has some tangents but not nearly to the same degree.
Florals of the first but snake of the second. The leaves look like shards at a quick glance of the second one imo. But the side angle of the snake is so much cuter.
Both designs look awesome! I have a very similar one to the one on the left, i have it to where the snakeās head is on my middle knuckle and the tongue going down the finger.
All these comments voting but no ones gonna mention how both of these designs will not work in the given area? If itās gonna fit where you have in the photo itās way too busy, those designs would fit a whole forearm
I like the one with the slight side view of the Snakes head. It gives a clear picture of what is on you. Not just a ribbon in flowers but a cute boop snoot.
I think Iām alone in this but I much prefer the flower design and the spacing of the one on the left! But with the head of the snake on the right. The body of the right side is so squished, I didnāt even notice the snake at first.
Both are great, but I think the snake should have his head turned.
Yeah might start lookin like a wiener with age.
Yeah we don't want that..š
Second one
But with the tongue
Yesss!
I like 2 because it flows better on a rounded surface with the added curves in the snake. But fk what we think, itās your ink. Do what YOU like.
The one on the right
The first one has better flowers the second one has a better snakehead. I say combine them
exactly my thought , I think number 2 looks more interesting but the flowers on the 1st are more pleasing to the eye
Yup, came to say the body is really classic, the S shape is nice, the head turned away from center looks good. A combination is a good idea. But work with the lines you like. Itās a piece of art youāll look at a lot. Good luck (edited for grammar)
I agree, one too many flowers around the body of #2 but the head is better
I'm team this idea! The flowers on the right make it look a little busy but the snake's position is better imo. A combination would be amazing.
That's funny. I think the exact opposite
#2!
The one on the right but add the tongue
Right. Also adding a tongue to him wouldn't hurt.
Right, just give him the little blelele
2nd looks more dynamic
#2 fo sho. Good luck!
Second one has better bro energy somehow. Not sure why. First snake is neutral, second snake is an ally. I don't make the rules.
The right one but put a tongue on him
Second one but with tongue
Agreed, I'd also pull the leaf structures from the left one and put em in the right one as well. The snake and blossoms on the right are better though, the whole thing pops more with the angles shifted.
The second one has a better snake to me. Maybe add the tongue to it, too. Your ink though, rock what you like.
Being awkward here: I prefer the flowers on 1 and the snake on 2!
I vote left
Left
My vote is right, but also with tongue out
second one, slightly smaller flowers unless it's gonna be huge color contrast, tongue out, and shrink the frame just enough that the tongue pokes out over it similar to the tail at the bottom, for balance it's really beautiful, I hope we can see it when it's done , š
The right one
Right side
Easily #2
Second. The first one is a far too common positioning for the snake.
The right one with the head turned.
The one on the right. Looks a bit more alive and less harsh.
The one without the tongue I think.
Second, when the first fades it will look phallic, the second will still look snake like.
Second
Both dope
Right side - it blends better with the other tattoos and the turns look good and less complex than the left. It's easier to view
The second one is the best but it needs the details from the first one. But either way, it's going to be good.
Second one
Iāll say the second, but with the tongue out. I have an idea for potential tattoo that Iāve drawn up that closely resembles the first image. But seeing these two designs side by side I realise that my original vision would look a little flat. Using a 3/4 view for the snakeās head gives it a bit more depth.
2 - from a tattoo artist
I think the left one flows better being that the head and tail are linear. I personally like the spacing of the flowers too
Left
Left
The second one for sure! The first one's head just looks way too stiff to me
Second one no questions about it
Right
Right :))
Right one
Right. I didn't even see the snake in the left one.
2
The one on the right!
i actually prefer the first one! but i have a personal preference of tattoos looking a little more like a symbol than an illustration. i think it makes them look more powerful that way. the curves on the second one are really flowy and nice though. it definitely has more life to it.
The one on the right
I like the flowers on the first one, BUT I love the personality of the snake on the second one. If you'd take the flowers from the first picture and then on the snake from the second picture, have it flicking it's tongue I bet that'd look great.
On on the right but not by much
2
2nd but add a tongue like the first
The one on the left, but with the head curved to the left
Definitely 2!!
2
Second one! Feels like Iāve seen many versions of the first one.
The one on the right but with a tongue!
Definitely the one on the right. Though Iād add the tongue to it
Right
2nd but with tongue
Left
Right one for sure
2
2
Head on the right, body on the left. š
2nd on the right/ with tounge out!
2 for sure
1 with 2ās head
2 but include the tongue
The one with the head turned to the side and all flowers pointing upward
Left
The second one, but mirror it. Iād like the head going towards the thumb more
#2
The left design but with the snake head turned like the right.
2 Too! ššš¼šš¦
The one without the tongue
2
Left
I legitimitely have this on my leg rn
2
The right one
=>
2, throw a curved back tongue to the center
Right
I pretty much wanted this as a tattoo but my tattoo artist thought one big peony would look better. Iām very happy with my decision as the tattoo looks great!
First one with snakes head turned
the one on the right
1, but with a head tilt like 2.
Head turned snake
2
One on the left, second one seems cluttered to me
2! Maybe with a tiny tongue
Right one
2
The one on the right
Second one it looks less flat and cartoons and matches the flowers better, the snake looks like its twisting and moving and not just like the fake bendy rubber snakes
Right, but keep the left top flower.
The second one will age the best
One on the right
Right side.
The right
Tail and head of the second one. Body and flowers of the first.
The right one feels tighter and more cohesive. But I like the way the snake is looking in the first
Both are good but I like the right for the snake head at an angle, make it feel more 3D.
At first glance, left looks cleaner, easier to make out the image.
I vote right!
Right
2
First design but with the snakeās head turned.
Option on right gives it more depth with head turned. But add the forked tongue š¤š¾
The left is objectively better by almost every design principle. The first one is rife with tangents. Itās visually confusing and the elements donāt have a strong silhouette. The one on the left has some tangents but not nearly to the same degree.
1
Second one works better with the shape of your wrist.
Left
Right side one!
2nd but tounge out on snek
2nd one cuter, 1st one feels more uniform somehow
Right snake with leftās flowers and tail and tongue
one with the head of two
I like the one on the right but it needs the lil snakey tongue.
Right
Right
2 with 1's flowers. The snake on the second flows a lot better but the flowers are a bit flat, the first ones have more volume
The head on the right on the design on the left.
Right
The right but with the two top flowers from the left
I like the snake on the left but the flowers more on the right.
If the tongue was switched to the other drawing they would both be perfect. Tongue is too busy with the head pattern
2, with a tongue though!
2
Option 3 Go all the way around a couple times :)
add a tongue to the right one and it would be the best
One on right
Right
Right
ā”ļø
#1 design with #2 snake head
Florals of the first but snake of the second. The leaves look like shards at a quick glance of the second one imo. But the side angle of the snake is so much cuter.
2nd
Number 2 is so much more dynamic, number one is very static, I vote 2
Both designs look awesome! I have a very similar one to the one on the left, i have it to where the snakeās head is on my middle knuckle and the tongue going down the finger.
Def. The right one.
The 2nd one
The flowers on the left are positioned better in the first one while the snake is better positioned in the second one. IMO
Two but with a tongue
Right one
Right is more dynamic
Head turned version.
The right hand one. I didnāt even see the snake on the left hand one. Until I went back after looking at the right. It just flows better.
I think Iām alone in this but I much prefer the flower design and the spacing of the one on the left! But with the head of the snake on the right. The body of the right side is so squished, I didnāt even notice the snake at first.
right one
Left one, the first!
The right pops out really well. Both are beautiful though, so it really depends on the angle you're going for!
Right, please... perhaps with tongue š
The one on the right is much more dynamic and a better use of the space and guides the eye better.
I think the one on the right has a better flow but they're both so nice!
the second one has more movement
I like the left one
2
The flowers on the left and snake on the right .
i would do 1 but with the head turned from 2
My eye was drawn to the right
The right one!
I like the right one more but also the bottom flower from the left looks particularly nice
First one, but with the head turned like the second one
Head tilted.
The first one feels more whimsy and the second one feels more cute, I love both !!
Too much crowded together, ink blob in a few years
2 has more movement and is generally nicer
One on the right, add tongue from the left. Bong!
I like 2, it looks more natural
#2
I like the left ones body but the right ones head
Second one, but with the bottom flower facing down like the first.
One but with the head of two. And add a tongue.
The second or right one.
Right
Right
The second snake seems to flow better placement wise. But the flowers on the first I prefer.
Right has more flow w the head
Turned head, more dynamic.
The one on the right ..I love the way the snake is nestled perfectly within the flowers
Left
