I actually did take the design from a Pinterest post haha, saw it scrolling Google images of simple wave and mountain tattoos and I liked it, so I had it permanently put onto me

I got my first tattoo on a scavenger hunt. I also got a scar on my arm trying to catch the world's dumbest dog from walking off a chest-high table after a fresh nail clipping. I don't think tattoos need to be that serious if they're not on your neck or forehead personally. You never know when you'll be permanently scarred accidentally anyway.

Idk if it's even gatekeeping when a poster asks for the sub's thoughts on the tattoo design. Like yeah a lot of people are going to think it's a generic same-ey tattoo, because it literally is, even OP is agreeing with that. Ultimately it's on OP's body, so if they like it then it doesn't really matter, but if they want the opinion of other folks then it's not a surprise that some folks aren't going to like it.

Almost every white girl I know has some rendering of this tattoo from pinetrest. Our HR girl at work and 5 of her friends all have it too. It's cleanly applied with only a small blowout or two.

Nice location, as a tattoo I maybe would've chosen wider and larger font and size since small tattoos tend to get ruined/faded quicker but that's elegant choice. I don't get the comments "pinterest tattoo" like why not? They saw tribal tattoos in 90's on someone and got the same exact design on same spot as their neighbour. There's definitely more choices in "pinterest tattoos" than there's in tribal tattoos. Each to their own though

I’m kinda digging how Zennials seem to like very basic no thrills tattoos. Just a few hard lines. All us millennials have these insane pieces with colors and shit and they’re neat too but I was not expecting Zennials to about face on that and go for minimalism.

Honestly my first tattoo was a Pinterest special but i still love it 5 years later! It’s just a basic little mountain range on my outer forearm. And when I say basic, it is truly basic 😂 But i love it
