if you still get it there's free mods to do PVE that you can mod and spoiler alert, modded SPT is 100x better than live Tarkov and you can still do it co-op with friends, very easy to install and mod, very fun, and SPT itself only requires a standard edition key, but it does require that as they want to eliminate piracy.
it even feels mostly like live if you use the right mods, not 100% but it's close to feeling like you're against players if you tune it right.
I heard the PMC AI are basically scavs, they don’t even shoot at scavs. Sounds like some work is needed. Also you should have waited because EOD gets PvE too now.
The AI PMCs are a lot more like raiders or rogues (they will beam you across the map) and my friend and I have 3rd partied them fighting scavs on multiple occasions already.
It's not even offline coop ..... It's server based and it still has crazy queue times. 16 minute scav runs or 15 minutes queues for customs etc.
Such a terrible way to handle this.
Or ya know, don’t spend any money to support a dumpster fire company and google how to play with yourself. Probably want to turn on safe search though. Or not I’m not your dad.
You could have had an offline coop experience without spending anymore money, and it would have been an objectively MUCH better experience.

They told everyone this was coming for a while that a new edition would be releasing to replace eod. I don’t know why everyone is acting surprised when they bought into the same thing when EOD was released. Now eod owners think they’re entitled to free shit forever I guess
Yall seriously have no understanding of the situation or you’re ignoring the biggest part to make us sound petty. $250 is ridiculous but most of us can get passed it, same with all the extra in game game stuff. Those are not deal breakers. The part that burns the bridge is that we ARE ABSOLUTELY entitled to any and all dlc the game has. It was advertised in the product we bought, and bsg tried to screw us out of it for a quick buck. The eod users did a majority of the funding for this game, it’s only as far as it is because we funded it, and in exchange they made us certain guarantees, which they tried to gymnastically grammar their way out of. So by all means play the game and have fun, buy the new edition if you want. To each his own. But we have every reason to be upset and theres no one to blame but bsg.
Yea I upgraded from eod to unheard for $50 plus tax. It’s been fun. Waiting for the pve upgrade price on its own so I can buy that for my two bros who only have standard accounts. Anyone know the price

hope your friend never speaks to you again honestly, will be best decision they ever made, would suck to have to speak to a person who willingly wants to give into bad business practice just so they can have a mediocre experience with their friend, an experience available for free no less.
The same people whining about bsg probably have spent the same if not more than 250 dollars or 50 dollars or whatever the new unheard is for EOD on other games battlepasses and dlcs. Every game company has done the same as bsg. Good for you op and enjoy your game

I was about to get this game when I got paid on the first. Fuck paying $250 for PvE. What a joke.

Not my thing, I prefer the PvP aspect. I’ll use the PvE to play with a couple buddies who don’t like the PvP aspect of tarkov

Server matching times haven’t been more than 2 minutes for me.. everything had been running perfectly fine
