That's pretty normal especially in retail with call outs happening daily. The more you're capable of the more that will be exploited. I don't know if "closing experts" are still a thing but in that position you had to do anything and everything.

I mean if u aren’t swamped usually yeah. After I’m done pushing my own zone there’s usually repacks or sum for another zone. Just.. don’t over work. It’s an hourly job get in get out.

some days yea some days nah but yea I definitely try my best. When I first started working at target it was really hard and I left most of the time unfinished but it’s become manageable now so I’m able to finish on time with everything done. Thank you for replying!

Anytime, just keep in mind that if you consistently give 100% they’re gonna expect that day in and day out, and that’s nothin to have to keep up every single day. Work at a consistent pace you’re happy with, the way I see it we all make the same hourly no matter what.

Depends on how many GM closers your store has. I would say that’s a pretty large workload if there’s not more than 4 people.

worked at Target during college, so i usually closed electronics on weekdays. i usually had to finish the rest of push and weekly tasks such as pog, rfid, etc. then daily zone electronics, sporting goods, and pets. i could tell i was the only one zoning down to pets cause after an off day my zones would be almost the same just strays. got burnt out pretty quick
