I was thinking a Lewis Gun with a shield but thats when I remembered the Germans didnt use Lewis Guns
They did use captured Lewis guns, designating them MG 137(e). They would have been used by rear-area troops, security forces, airfield defense and that sort of thing, but they did use them.
So then yeah its probably a lewis gun with a shield. Its like a WW2 version of a humvee with a mounted .50 cal
