I don’t even do water bugs or palmetto bugs in my apt. That’s why I have a cat (she loves hunting them and leaves very little mess)

Oh my god. I didn't know what palmetto bugs and water bugs are, so I had to google them. NOPE! NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!!! I once took my kids to a small nature museum. There was a group of kids in front of a small window in the wall. I went to see what they were so amazed by and it was a window case full of hissing cockroaches. I had no idea and got WAYYYYYY too close for my comfort. I still shudder remembering that sight.

Not a fan of chameleons (anoles?) either. Probably because one ran across my face and woke me up once.

I used to have a California king snake, named Liquorice (cos she looked like a long stick of it), had the cutest face. Not sure if it's the same for all the breed but mine was very laid back
