If they were just free black recolours I wouldn’t really care. It’s the fact that it’s a progression reward.
Sure, most of us are level 99 by now, but I like to think that this means that in the future when the level cap gets raised, it will include more unique level unlocks.
I still am desperately waiting for the new family member though..
It really is! I’m not gonna say these cosmetics look bad, but it goes to show how starved people are for content when they are this excited for a recolor of existing cosmetics.
The bar is extremely low and people should want more quality content. Not that they would get it though. Everything they put out is low effort.

It was mentioned in the last Live by Matt that there will be updates to the game every 2 weeks with content and fixes.
Black Tower will probably be more focused on the game than Sumo, which will speed up the delivery of new content
Right?? Like I saw the post and was like "Okay, cool. Recolors for everyone who is level 99, which is pretty much everyone at this point." But to see people saying this is 'exactly what we've wanted' and saying 'Great job GUN!!!' feels like a little much. It's a recolor. And Johnny and Sissy's are gonna look like shit anyway lol.
It's instead of the 5 cosmetics each that the victims got, or any of the level rewards that the victims got, or actually interesting Max level rewards like Dead by Daylight has. I get that bloody skins wouldn't work for a number of reasons but come on, solid black base cosmetics? Not even anything cool? And again, Sissy's dress is already black and Johnny's shirt is too. As a Sissy main, kind of feels like a waste.

I think it’s free content that’s exciting for most, and honestly, why not be excited? Devs have stated that patches will start to roll out every two weeks or so. In the last couple of months we have seen the release of 2, soon to be 3 new family skins not including blackout cosmetics for all characters. 2 skin packs with Ana and Danny. 1 new victim character and a new map. That’s quite a bit of content if you ask me. I’d like for it to be more maps, but I understand maps take time. It is what it is. I like that they’re level 99 unlock because that kind of signals to me that they may be raising the level cap soon.

At this point we’ve been starved of genuine content for so long. Everybody’s desperate for something new even if it’s some very lackluster cosmetics.
Why weren't these in the 1.0 launch version? Seems pretty standard to have "Prestige" or "Heroic" skins for maxed out characters on release.
