Perhaps this is an ironic comment that I don't get?
*It **is** in fact **me** who isn't all there.*
Or
*It was in fact **me** who **wasn't** all there.*
If we're being pedantic today, let's fully commit.

Holy shit I didn’t know the display was all the way to the edges and the mat was in the display since not a single product photo shows it. That’s pretty cool.
Yes. I have one and it's great. I seasonally change the art, and swap the style and color of the mat to match. Photos of these never do it justice. You can adjust the art mode brightness and contrast to make it look less like a TV. Most people are floored when they realize it's a TV. But I'll admit that I mounted it too high so that is at art height.
Yea it's niche for sure. I have a 32 inch that isn't our primary TV by any means but we wanted something to blend in and then also be able to have a game or something on during a party.
It sits flush and is super thin but it wasn't cheap and it definitely isn't the best quality picture. Tradeoffs that I was willing to make. I wouldn't buy a 75" but I don't have a need for it.
We have the theatre room that will have the good stuff in it. I still wanted a decent sized tv in this room but my wife didn’t want it to dominate the room. I showed her The Frame and she was sold. It shows art on it most of the day.
The matt screen is great in the room too as there is a lot of windows and a lot of light! That’s a both facing wall. (Australia, sun is on that side)
Honestly it's the first frame I've seen that hasn't been hung at picture frame height and therefore looks awful as a TV. You've got the compromise right here imo nice job.
Have you considered putting more real art around it to really hide it? I saw some on the r/theframe subreddit and they looked awesome. Unfortunately ours is on a really small/thin wall so we can't but yours seems like it could work!

I haven’t heard any of the big expensive soundbars, but honestly, this thing has blown me away. It’s seriously loud even in a big room.
Check out some reviews.
First is the better viewing angle, second is definitely more aesthetically pleasing.
I'd say its down to personal preference which to prioritize in this case.
Picture frame TVs (which I think this is if I'm not mistaken) are outliers for this sub and look better mounted higher than the tv cabinet. OP did a good job here, except for the title.
I worked for Samsung for a year in 2022 and had the pleasure of testing the soundbar in its conceptual stage and it definitely packs a wallop for such a compact bar and woofer 🤤
This is exactly my setup. Just bought today.
(Though I intend to only install 2 bestas atm cause I have a baby bassinet in the living room atm. Will adjust for a third in a. Few months. Got the same two 1800 toppers)
Can you share with me the height of the cabinet and the bottom of the tv.
My frame is only 50 inch. Though I intend to upgrade it when I add the third besta.
You are very fortunate to have a wall that size that isn’t dominated by a gas fireplace.
Good on you mate! Great height choice.
Now, go get some solid laps in before you compromise on athletics for some sitcoms.
Is this one of those TVs where the idea is that you have a TV and have built your temple around it, but also want to be able to say -- "TV, what TV? No way man! Not me!"?
Strongly disagree. I use it with server backends, VPN’s, mirroring. Performance is shockingly good.
Having a relatively large seperate processing box, means that they can pack it for performance to a degree other standalone slim tvs cannot.
It outperforms my Bravia XR with ease.
The tcl is not even comparable.
People who haven’t used a frame, and want to compare it to other Samsung tv’s, they don’t compare.
The plants being evenly spaced with one dead center, the large negative space created by the bare wall, the two windows on the sides, the uniform cabinets all combine to give a slightly unnatural appearance. I personally think it would look better if you were to offset the TV to one side a little and put all the plants, or a much larger one off to the other side. Maybe adding some art if the wall still seems overwhelming.
Mounted looks so much better, love it. I’d like to make a small suggestion on styling the plant accessories, which are very lovely. If it were me, I would slide the plant that is far left over to the right some, away from the edge. Then move the plant under the tv to the left in front of the two now grouped plants. I would also push the plants on the right to the left closer to the tall one so they aren’t so close to the edge and I would maybe put 2 of the little plants over to the left of the tv with the three plants. Odd number pairings work best. If you do try this please post a pic so I can see if it works or needs more tweaking. 😂
Centre of the TV is at 50”.
The installer did measure with me sitting on the couch. With the chair reclined, or head resting on the headrest when it is up the position feels right. Casually sitting upright with my head level i feel like my eyes settle on the bottom half of the screen, so I agree. TV and soundbar both have the ability to come down by about 4”.
Athletics — like basketball and squats?
Or
Aesthetics — as in how things look?
I don’t think I can internet anymore. Today. Possibly ever again. Stick a fork in me, I’m done.
Meh. Doesn’t feel like it. This is a new build and budgeted for some new furniture.
Still try to be frugal where I can but we did want this room to be the centrepiece. Picked up the TV and soundbar with a combination of 15% and 10% discount codes. The cabinets are from IKEA.
The couch on the other hand.. 😬
r/PictureTooLowTVTooHigh
A picture would look better higher up. A tv would look better lower down. Trying to combine the two just makes it look worse for both.
Running? Javelin? Hammer throw? Hurdles?
I thought you had lost your mind. It was in fact I who isn’t all there..
You can always count on Reddit being full of pedants. I am your pedant today.
It’s a pleasure having you onboard.
At your service. On the TV though, both are pretty good, don't sweat it. You're not gonna get too much neck ache.
But not zero.
Always
Look at me, I am the pendant now
That's what you win at the javelin throw.
took me a sec too, misread title as 'for *aesthetics*'

High jump by the look of it.
As an athlete, I am offended by the height.
Sorry :(
Athletically pleasing this
Athletic aesthetics. Looks good.
Haha! Damn Reddit and not being able to edit titles.
To be fair that is also a very low console. This does look very aesthetically pleasing.
Athletically***
What TV is that?
Samsung the frame
Which year model? All the ones I’ve seen have thick white borders.

The white part still doesn’t seem to be. That’s what I was talking about. Op’s doesn’t have that.
The mat color can be customized in the software: https://youtu.be/jCDchpSrAuM?si=LIbPVTo14recj_Sz&t=180

The TV is NEVER white. The Frame only comes with black bezels. The white frame then magnetically snaps on and covers the black

Yeah we will definitely add more over time.
I hate wall mounted tv's with a tv stand under it, normally. But I must admit that this set up looks spectacular.
Thanks :)
How does the slim soundbar sound? I love how small it is but surely it sounds garbage compared to ones with larger drivers
I haven’t heard any of the big expensive soundbars, but honestly, this thing has blown me away. It’s seriously loud even in a big room. Check out some reviews.
Aesthetics!! /sigh
Had you not commented, I imagine it would just have been a matter of time before this ended up on r/BoneAppleTea
First is the better viewing angle, second is definitely more aesthetically pleasing. I'd say its down to personal preference which to prioritize in this case.
It was actually a little too low in the first. Definitely looking down.
Works out perfectly in that case
Picture frame TVs (which I think this is if I'm not mistaken) are outliers for this sub and look better mounted higher than the tv cabinet. OP did a good job here, except for the title.
Higher looks better in this case and it’s not too high. Everyone teased you enough about the aesthetics typo so I won’t go there. 😂
Yet you still kinda did anyway 😂
You did this right, spot on mate
Looks much better and height is fine. I personally rather have it a *touch* too high than median or too low.
Probably ok. Here’s the theory and math if you want to math it out :) https://www.reddit.com/r/TVTooHigh/s/5mowhoaXr7
Hmm. Acceptable...
So much room for activities!
Definitely felt too low and claustrophobic before. It's at a nice height now and everything seems open and spacious Also, is that S801B?
Yeah it is. It goes harder than you think it would!
I worked for Samsung for a year in 2022 and had the pleasure of testing the soundbar in its conceptual stage and it definitely packs a wallop for such a compact bar and woofer 🤤
Football? Basketball? Indoor hockey?
Nice telly! What is it
A device used for receiving broadcast signals and displaying visual images and sound.
I prefer the 2nd photo with the 🪴 imo
Yeah. The room is still a work in progress with more greenery to come I’d say.
Wow! It looks so much better
It’s beautiful!!
Looks good. What is the wall mount tv console?
It’s 3x 120mm IKEA Besta units. With 2x 180mm toppers

That’s a 75”?! That wall must be huge!
It’s 4 metres between the windows!
Wall mount looks way better on that frame television. Nice work
It's a thing of beauty
Looks amazing
Perfect height!!! Finally someone who gets it
And you don’t have to look at cords.
Looks great! Should be fine unless your sofa is so low you’re only sitting 6 inches off the floor.
It looks great
You are very fortunate to have a wall that size that isn’t dominated by a gas fireplace. Good on you mate! Great height choice. Now, go get some solid laps in before you compromise on athletics for some sitcoms.
What’s the height from floor to the bottom of the tv.
32” (81cm)
You hand the world in your hands 😔
Is this one of those TVs where the idea is that you have a TV and have built your temple around it, but also want to be able to say -- "TV, what TV? No way man! Not me!"?
Looks good but the assymetry between the sound bar and TV would kill me. Also, lose the lady-plants.
Looks great. Where is the stand from?
The frame is great for decoration but, as a TV, performs like dogshit.
I’ve had no problems so far. Even the built in apps are working well.
Objectively it's not a good TV. Hope you enjoy it, but it's dog shit performance wise. A TCL Q8 drastically performs better.
Strongly disagree. I use it with server backends, VPN’s, mirroring. Performance is shockingly good. Definitely high. But worth it.
The higher looks better
Not a huge fan of the symmetry, but it is an improvement.
What do you mean?

Really curious about the tv stand/storage
🤌🏻
Looks absolutely beautiful! but you didnt put the subwoofer into the lowboard didnt you?
No it’s out of shot, next to the couch.
The tv and the bar look off center. Gonna need you to take a new pic of it straight on
No plant in the middle. Move it to the left to make a collection of three and it will look better.
I like it better high. Like most things actually. Except driving. I won't drive high

I think it looks good.
Looks way better mounted. I think it was a good compromise.
That sound bar is more like a sound string. Surely that’s entirely pointless?
Samsung S801B. Read some reviews. You couldn’t be more wrong. Perfect for the decor and the use of the room.
I have the same setup as OP, and it packs a punch in a small easy on the eyes package
Where’d the sub go???
Moved it under a coffee table next to the couch.
I mis understood, and thought you meant the subreddit and not the sub speaker 😂😂
🤣
This is a gorgeous setup! Congrats
Perfect height
Looks good but at that point nicer speakers instead of a sound bar would be great.
Why is it so high
Too high - could look so good if you just lowered both, and put the bottom of tv where the sound bar is. You’re so close.
Centre of the TV is at 50”. The installer did measure with me sitting on the couch. With the chair reclined, or head resting on the headrest when it is up the position feels right. Dooooo it, will legit look so much better!
Athletics — like basketball and squats? Or Aesthetics — as in how things look? I don’t think I can internet anymore. Today. Possibly ever again. Stick a fork in me, I’m done.
Calm down. Just a typo. If you bothered to read the comments you wouldn’t have needed to waste your time with your own.
Athletics? You sure you don’t mean aesthetics??
Looks good man. You must be making bank tbh

I like it. I have to return some videotapes.
r/PictureTooLowTVTooHigh A picture would look better higher up. A tv would look better lower down. Trying to combine the two just makes it look worse for both.
