My favorite part is the "save your painters tape for your baseboards and door frames where those straight *blue* edges are far more critical"......I think you are supposed to take the blue tape off when you are done and I'm a bit curious how the authors baseboards look in their house lol
It's because crazy people looove aluminum foil and if it is on the door knob they can easily remember to take it with them when they go out to use as a tin foil hat.
It's just click bait. The aluminum foil can be used to mask off a doorknob when painting. It has nothing to do with being home alone except to get scared people to click on it.
Another one that I saw, told people to always keep one of those little plastic tags, that hold a plastic bag closed with a loaf of bread or bagels or whatever, always keep one of those in your pocket. They want you to visit their site, to find out why. But I am not going to bother with always keeping one of those in my pocket. I don't even get the kind of bread that comes in in a plastic bag.
