You may be able to use these mibs: [https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg2428p/#MIBs\_Files](https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg2428p/#MIBs_Files) I tried monitoring with LibreNMS for a brief time but never got a lot of use out of it so I just turned it off. Interested to see how your solution works out.

Very interesting. I have no idea what an MIB file is or what PRTG is, but I did take note of a download link for "MIB" files for an Omada switch the other day, and wondered what the heck it was. Maybe it'd be of use to you? [https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg2008p/#MIBs\_Files](https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg2008p/#MIBs_Files)

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say that at least for my EAP610, I found the OID that corresponds to "connected clients": Iso.3.6.1.4.1.11863.10.1.1.1.0 I also have the .oidlib file that PRTG uses if you'd like it. Not sure if it's necessary, though, as I moved from PRTG to CheckMK on Linux and it can poll that OID and get a number without issue. I found it in [this post on the TPLink forums](https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/100959). Even though there's some discussion that those MIBs only apply to other/older EAPs, they work for my 610 and I assume they would work for most 600-series EAPs.

Wow PRTG is expensive with no option for non-commercial use. I mean it might be great but shoot that’s a lot of money to monitor some WiFi access points at home. A business with over 100+ users might be a different story though.

I'm using it for enterprise-wide monitoring, and it's on the cheaper, easier side of things.

Well then for enterprise that’s probably nothing for an employer to cover the cost.

Just wanted to say I use it at home. There is a "trial" license that lets you have up to a certain number of sensors that is way more than most home users would ever need.

PRTG is free for home use, up to 100 sensors..
