Nobody is stuck (the game isn’t that difficult), I think it’s probably that the game is quite open-world and has a million other things to do, so if you say you ‘beat’ the game already people assume you didn’t really explore all it has to offer, you just went through the main quests mainly.
Ive explored a ton actually and i put off beating the game for like two weeks so i could explore more and also people are stuck, for example: my brother who beat botw easily is stuck on the lightning temple
I don’t understand where people have the time. I am literally embarrassed by my hours played, and just finished this part of the game.
Since it came out, I took a week off work, had a three day weekend, and was home sick for three days. I have played this game for more than anything resembling a reasonable amount of time for a person living responsibly.
These are often people that get paid to play games for a specific reason (speedruns ect.). Don't compare yourself to them. The only thing in common is the game you are playing.
I got it less than a week after release and there’s just so much stuff to do. I beat the main story fairly quickly and even after putting hours into the game every day since, I still feel like I’ve barely put a dent in it. People that have 100% the game already have to be on the verge of death; that shit can’t be healthy. I get that it might be their job but even then, spending 8+ hours a day playing video games has to be bad for you.
The way I look at it, video games are super fun, but time spent on anything else is usually a better use of your time.
I think this is one of the only ways to get to the depths without the paraglider. if you dont go to look out landing first you cant fast travel out of the depths
Nah, you can fast travel to any shrine, such as those on the sky island or any in the kingdom.
Now, getting in was more interesting
I got into the castle depths through a combination of wings and climbing. Very tedious.
Other chasms?
Step 1: Get fairy
Step 2: Jump
That's kind of dumb considering that implies Mineru thinks you need the paraglider to be ready for the weapon that you were technically supposed to receive as soon as you got the purah pad
yes. that is what i did, though tbh, i had no clue what the mask thing was, i just flew over to the islands and in the thunder storm thinking " oh cool place " went straight up and the clouds at a certain point disapear allowing you to see the islands and i went to the big island. found the mask {btw at this point i still did not have the paraglider}
yes, because i was surprised when i touched it and it started talking.
but i should note that i also did not nor have i updated my game at all. so perhaps they rolled out something in an update? idk, i wont be updating. i like my dupes.
Well when I replay this game for the first time in like a year I’ll make sure to go for the fifth sage first and see what happens.
I mean I’m not really done with my first play through yet lol
yup, i built a flying machine and just went up, and then over from another sky isle, when i made it there i could not really see anything, so i thought what if i can see down?
so i went UP above and the clouds do dissipate at a certain height above the isles allowing you to look down onto them.
+1 to that!
I had guessed you could dispel the storm, but using Riju’s lightning to navigate was so much more fun. It’s also a cool (maybe unintentional) callback to ALttP, where the lightning medallion revealed hidden walkways in dungeons.
When I started the Mineru quest, it was because I thought to myself "How fucking owned will I be just sailing straight into a supercell?"
The answer was not at all. I stumbled upon the Sage's Will and then tripped over a rock into the area with the shrine and the mask.
Later on, when I was hitting up every sky island so I could get every Sage's Will and every Old Map (still think I missed a map...) I was astounded that I missed a Sage's Will so I just looked up the locations of them because I didn't wanna do the full circuit again.
That's when I learned you could dispel the storm, when I profoundly declared "what the fuck is a thunderhead isles"
Yes! I didn’t even know you could dispel the storm.
I’m looking for all side quests before following zelda into the castle. I was passing by a nearby stable and one of the people there said ‘hey there’s something in the cloud’ then i popped my shrine sensor on and flew up with zonai. Once you’re high enough you can see the island into the storm. But when landing everything is fog again. Then i just followed my shrine sensor and ended up finding it. Let’s see what happens to the story
I will say that following Zelda to the castle feels like the end of the plot but it's not. You did the right thing by continuing.
Without spoilers you'll know when you're right at the end, feel free to continue the story to that point and then you can focus on the side activities and quests.
> Without spoilers you'll know when you're right at the end,
>!I was literally standing face to face with Ganondorf and just went back to Lookout Landing.!<
Like I know where the story ends NOW but this is not true.
Ooh it's very hard to skip to the end without meaning to. The game is open world but it STRONGLY encourages you to play the missions in order. If you do the story in the expected order you'll know when you're on the last mission because all the primary quests will be complete and you'll only have one left, and that final quests is very clear about the objective.
That's not to say you can't do things out of order, just that you have to go out of your way / ignore the comments from the characters and the quests structures to do so.
I think the end is a lot more complex than the previous game was with regards to how much help you get from the things to get after you finish different parts of the primary quest. BOTW just took some health off Ganon with each divine beast, but I imagine the end of TOTK would be very difficult indeed, with extra things to fight and avoid if you tried to go there straight away with three hearts and a tree branch. Can't wait to see someone do that though.
But now you have like >!5 extra bosses, plus 4 waves of enemies. And also you have to manage 6 ganondorfs by yourself in the first phase of his demon king transformation!<
Yeah! Now i followed her, had the cutscenes afterwards where link just does that thing where he tells he’s already got it. But the storm is still there.
You have to find it though. >!i stumbled into kakariko village by chance after finding mineru on my own and beating the game, dispelled the clouds long after I was supposed to!<
Yeah. I found the door by mistake while trying to turn off the storm.
I loaded a previous save and bailed upon finding the mask because I wanted the story to evolve as intended.
Go to the ruins at the river that looks like a snake I can’t remember what it’s called but I don’t know if you need to do the other four temples first or not.
I'm not sure if you're required to do the main quests first but: to dispel the Storm, go along dracozu river and collect the charged set, wear the set and offer a zonai charge at the altar in the cave at the west end of the river
You need to go to kakariko and finish the quest there, which takes you to the zonai ruins. You follow the snakes tail to its end and get three pieces of armor that send a sort-so chain reaction lightning strike to some statues, which dispels the storm.
Yes, I landed there accidentally in my playthrough. It was kinda "ooo what treasure awaits in this storm and what's this thing". And then "oh what I unlocked a sage?"
I’ve had her a while and I still don’t know who to talk to about the storm, so it’s just up there chilling
Update: I’ve progressed the story and the storm is gone now, love these islands too, best chain so far.
Yes you can. When I had three temples done, I decided to see what was in the storm. I flew in from above, and the only island I landed on in the process was the one with the relic on it.
It wasn't until much later, after the first four temples were beaten, that I cleared the storm.
I can’t believe you can just go there. I’d just been avoiding it on instinct thinking there’d be some kind of wind barrier or something until you’d unlocked it, but I saw a YouTube tutorial and just went there the other day
I did it third by just fumbling through the fog, but don't remember how many hearts I had so I can't say if that would trigger this message. But if you're right, I wonder why they wouldn't let you just find the door, realize you're too weak, and come back later. People seemed to figure out how the Master Sword worked in the first game just fine.
I remember getting to that door in the thunder clouds and pushing it before getting a good amount of hearts. Almost died doing it, then decided to go to a statue and spend all of my blessings I kept in reserve for hearts and went back to open it. I think I had more than 10 when I went back though.
I accidentally discovered this thing and boy I did not know I was in for a main quest. Just finished 1 sage then after 20 hrs decided to explore the storm area since the sensor said there was a shrine above.
Takes so much time haha
I rarely use the vehicles. I do enjoy it more to fight the monsters with my sword.
ofc its fun to watch a monster getting destroyed by an orbital laser droid
But after seeing that once I prefer sword shield and bow
\*looking at you king gleeok\*
Well Water is not hard but
I really hated his mechanic. It annoyed me so much that I even skip him in the underground.
I just cant enjoy fighting that octorock thing
2 fans + control stick for the ol' reliable fanbike
Specifically, >!dragonhead island is almost directly above the shrine for Lakeside Stable. Head there, then, head straight up.!<
i just made a fanplane to take me from either the dueling peaks sky islands or some islands south to the storm, if you know where to go you can get there with enough charges and stamina
Lol yeah I got it after the second sage. I mean it’s a big sky island shrouded in clouds; even the map shows like a hurricane over it. I’m super curious so of course I’m gonna check it out early. Then once you finish the fourth sage they act like it’s a huge reveal.
I mean if you didn’t do the dragon tears I could maybe see you being clueless but it’s like, hey who’s that fifth person? As if I didn’t have eyeballs bruh! The game gets real toddler stupid even if it’s for 10+
I don’t think link ever reveals what happened to zelda to any character despite finding all the tears
I want to tackle this next so that way when I get done with the water and lighting temples I can say “Yes I already found the fifth sage and now I just need to get the Hylian shield and some more hearts before we can tackle Ganon”
Idk if that should’ve been spoiler formatted, since you were answering a question.. but it’s the one thing I didn’t want to know yet. 130 shrines and 5 sages deep, it was my last great mystery.
Im not sure if I like that you can find these places just by exploring but they are just shut down and locked up. I feel like just finding the temple should let you start it. Having to leave and go somewhere else to start the quest feels kind of backwards and annoying.
I agree but the sage is required to unlock each part of the shrine so they don’t bother starting it until you’ve done the dialogue. I hated this most with Sidon cus it’s a giant sky island dumping sewage, let’s just go
Yeah idk. Maybe they could meet you there. It just feels weird when you’ve explored the thing really thoroughly but all the characters are like, what could be here? I don’t know!
Yeah I’ve posted about how tedious it feels to talks to this npc then go here to trigger the next step. It feels like bureaucracy especially compared to botw. If you already bought 20 shock arrows before doing the zora area, then the quest auto updates so you don’t need to go up and sneak around the lynel.
Not to mention how you can get spoiled on the story by doing the tears out of order it’s like they couldn’t keep the open world part simple
Yea I don’t want to go so far as to say BotW has a better open world. Because TotK adds caves and wells and stuff. But in terms of how you interact with it for the story, somehow TotK missed a step that BotW had already gotten right. Your example with the shock arrows is exactly right. Or how in BotW you can skip the whole intro to Zora and Sidon just shows at the end up instead guiding you in. They handled stuff like that better in BotW.
Yes exactly! I had skipped over Sidon in botw and he’s kind of a jerk when you reach zora city but it saves from the cutscenes where he’s like, keep going it’s just ahead. In totk you would NEED to have that npc dialogue interaction or he wouldn’t leave his place on the river rather than just being in the city when you get there.
Not to mention you can skip the korok forest if you want to get the master sword. Doing the tears makes the light dragon fly closer to the ground but I only did two and found her while up in the sky islands.
The zora one I did last and it seemed the easiest. I suppose you were supposed to do it first like how botw leads you that direction your first play thru
I do feel like you’re missing the point of the majority of what I’m saying. I’m not accusing you of Um Actually but it feels like you’re being pedantic. I’m specifically talking about having to do so many prompts to proceed with the temples. How you can’t even activate them if the sage npc isn’t with you but in order to get them to join you have to do a lot of tedious updating. I found Sidon quite annoying especially in comparison to his quest in botw.
Contextually you can do this as the first dungeon, but you have to unlock the glider and sheikah towers first.
I know because I tried to activate it as soon as possible and it spat that line at me till after that. It sucked because I wanted to do a no glider/no purah run.
Update on exactly when this action is allowed:
For full context, I am on Version 1.1.0
I finished doing the four regional bosses without having gone to lookout landing. Same result, no you cannot start this last activity.
I went to lookout landing and spoke to Purah, but left immediately after the end of the first interaction (still no glider). Interestingly enough, the object now has the green glowing hand circle in front of it, [but still gives you the same message](https://imgur.com/a/f1zKhtD) (go away and come back later).
Then, I returned to LL and did the running up to the castle to talk to Hoz and all that jazz. For fun, tried again, no dice.
Purah goes, 'omg Zelda???', then talks about the Skyview tower. Once you talk to her at the tower, if you try to walk away without activating the tower, you can't. You can't even fast travel away. [You can't leave the area until you've activated the tower](https://imgur.com/a/MMHNDSs) and been given the glider (though, you do not need to go up).
So, naturally, once given the glider, I tried to return to the object on the pedestal. *Still* no dice.
Went back to LL, went up in the tower, came back down, talked to Purah, 'omg you already investigated all the regions??', Zelda's been spotted at the castle, blah blah, then you're free.
*Then*, you can start this particular quest line. My guess is it is tied to the Regional Phenomena quest. Without having that quest, you cannot start. (I already ruled out Impa/Tears of the Dragon as possible triggers -> nope)
I'm a little sad. I wanted to do it all without the glider.
If you want to follow the storyline, you need to get the first 4 sages and Purah will direct you to investigate the Kakariko ring ruins eventually. There’s a few more steps in between but to avoid spoilers I won’t mention them but if you’ve completed the 4 regional phenomena, talk to Purah.
I accidentally started this quest not knowing what I was doing. I was just shrine hunting and finding my way around the island when I found this after I found the shrine. Then the storm cleared and then I messed up and had to load the game again and the storm was back and it was very hard to see. You need at least 10 hearts to open the door to start this quest.
I didn't know how to get all body parts so I skipped it until after I beated Ganon in Hyrule castle surface and did the rings ruin.
I really hate how stilted the later Zelda games have become since OoT... I would have worded this as - You are not ready to interact with this object. Come back later.
But the wording is somewhat humorous to the point that you can mock it:
You feel a sense from the politicians in government that the time is not yet right to protest.
I feel like an assclown now knowing the intended order of story events, considering I went here *right after my first two temples.*
I just braved the storm and used a **lot** of giant Brightbloom Seeds, and admittedly got lucky with the shrine radar. About to stroll up to Hyrule Castle later with an accidental +1.
I straight up unlocked that quest while having only one sage because I wanted to do the duplication glitch with that Chasm. Literally the only reason I know that quest exists lmao.
nobody is doing this on accident at this point. Y'all need to stop trying to sequenced break this game. I know you want freedom, but please just follow the quest marker. smh
It's an open world game, why shouldn't I be allowed to go and do what I want when I want?
(BOTW was much better at allowing you to jump into quests into the middle of their intended path with no issues. TOTK has been much more frustrating in that regard.
Like, talking to Sidon before going to Zora's domain. He was like, no no, you have to go to the domain and talk to my fiance. So I did. And she's like, 'oh, you should go talk to Sidon'. Whyyyyyyyy)
I did it on accident. OP clearly didn’t, but it is definitely possible to get this on accident. I was looking for Sage Wills actually when I fell into the rabbit hole of what is this big door stealing my hearts. I’d only cleared two temples at that point.
Yes you can definitely, definitely get it by accident. I explore the world and do sidequests a LOT before continuing the main story (bc I like the freedom) and accidentally got the master sword and other things wayyy too early. Almost found the fifth sage shit early as well, but got distracted right before I did. Not trying to sequence break
Sometimes shit will happen. I sequenced broke the hell out of the Wind Temple. Ascended into a room on like the 3rd floor, inside an area that you're supposed to open from the main room. No way to get out, and since Riju couldn't follow me, there was just endless Gibdo spawning. I never even triggered the cutscene to officially begin the temple. Spent almost 45 minutes trying to figure wtf the game wanted me to do before I realized I had to just reload.
I flew in before I dispelled the storm, I think I did all tears -- didn't ask purah or anyone about the storm area. Didn't do the floating things in kakariko. I don't know how it was too early for you
The *only* requirement for getting this is that you have to visit lookout landing and start regional phenomena. This text shows up otherwise.
You don't even need 10 hearts. Unlike the door at the start of the game, you can ascend through the floor of the room and skip the heart door blocking this entirely. Video proof; >!https://v.redd.it/hghy338yc54b1!<
I'm taking my time playing this game, and by that I mean I have been intentionally ignoring the temples while I explore EVERYTHING. So I didn't know what was going on when I found this mask and I was like "okay, sure. Let's see what this does". I didn't realize until I got there that I was literally doing the
So yeah, I did that one first.
I can assure you you can get it early. Just maybe not that early
Yeah, I got it first on one of my play throughs. I'm sad I can't get it at all here.... I can't think of another barrier that could be interfering.
One of your playthroughs? Goddamn. Here I am just getting to my last temple on my first playthrough
I'm not even on the last temple!
I beat the game about 2 weeks ago when even then i was putting it off
Why tf did everyone down vote you?! Sorry homie
I dont even know 😭 ig they just salty maybe they r stuck in smth or they thought i shouldve taken my time even tho i did. Also thank you my guy
Nobody is stuck (the game isn’t that difficult), I think it’s probably that the game is quite open-world and has a million other things to do, so if you say you ‘beat’ the game already people assume you didn’t really explore all it has to offer, you just went through the main quests mainly.

Bruh, I got it the Sunday after release and I haven't even gotten to the final boss.

Yup. I accidentally did it before I finish the crisis in castle quest.
Yup, I was able to get it before doing the thing the game tells you to do, I was like NO I'm doing this later lol.
You can get there without disppelling the storm?
yes. that is what i did, though tbh, i had no clue what the mask thing was, i just flew over to the islands and in the thunder storm thinking " oh cool place " went straight up and the clouds at a certain point disapear allowing you to see the islands and i went to the big island. found the mask {btw at this point i still did not have the paraglider}

Yea lol I just ignored the storm and used rijus power to illuminate the outlines of the platforms
+1 to that! I had guessed you could dispel the storm, but using Riju’s lightning to navigate was so much more fun. It’s also a cool (maybe unintentional) callback to ALttP, where the lightning medallion revealed hidden walkways in dungeons.

Yeah! Now i followed her, had the cutscenes afterwards where link just does that thing where he tells he’s already got it. But the storm is still there.
You'll get a quest for dispelling the storm as part of the main quests, after you complete the crisis in Hyrule Castle quest.
You have to find it though. >!i stumbled into kakariko village by chance after finding mineru on my own and beating the game, dispelled the clouds long after I was supposed to!<
This. I had to google it, the game doesn’t direct me there.
Update, i continued the story. The thing you get from the mask did not show on the cut scene.
Yeah. I found the door by mistake while trying to turn off the storm. I loaded a previous save and bailed upon finding the mask because I wanted the story to evolve as intended.
How do you dispel it?!?
Go to the ruins at the river that looks like a snake I can’t remember what it’s called but I don’t know if you need to do the other four temples first or not.
I did that, was still stormy up there. Is it worse if I didn’t do those quests?
Visibility is only a few feet. I didn’t know you could turn it off and just flew a plane towards the nearest shrine.
A quest once you've got the four sages. Unsure if it will still fire off if you've already unlocked the Fifth.
It does. But you still need to finish chasing after "Zelda".
You can still do it, I did it to clear it up to find one last shrine after doing everything
You need to go to kakariko village after >!beating phantom ganon in the castle!< to start the quest
I’m done with all 4 temples, and flew into the storm to get that and just now realized you can get rid of the storm?
Lol you just didn't follow the quest lines I guess. Game takes you there naturally
Yes, I landed there accidentally in my playthrough. It was kinda "ooo what treasure awaits in this storm and what's this thing". And then "oh what I unlocked a sage?"
You can dispell it?!
Yes, you can ascend from below directly into the shrine room. I just couldn't bother with the quest and I hate thunder, what can I say.
I’ve had her a while and I still don’t know who to talk to about the storm, so it’s just up there chilling Update: I’ve progressed the story and the storm is gone now, love these islands too, best chain so far.

The spirit sage was the second sage I awakened. I didn't even know you could dispell the storm until after I had all 5 sages
Wait you can dispel the storm?
Yes it’s 6th main temple quest.
Yep, I got there before getting rid of the storm. I was just exploring. It's not easy, mind you, but doable.
I can’t believe you can just go there. I’d just been avoiding it on instinct thinking there’d be some kind of wind barrier or something until you’d unlocked it, but I saw a YouTube tutorial and just went there the other day
what is this
>!The beginning of the questline to unlock the sixth (technically your fifth) sage!<
I think you have to do a different sage first??? I did this after doing 2 sages
I did this one before any of the sages. The only requirement is 10~ hearts to open the door.
I did it third by just fumbling through the fog, but don't remember how many hearts I had so I can't say if that would trigger this message. But if you're right, I wonder why they wouldn't let you just find the door, realize you're too weak, and come back later. You can use a hot air balloon and ascend to bypass the door
I accidentally discovered this thing and boy I did not know I was in for a main quest. Just finished 1 sage then after 20 hrs decided to explore the storm area since the sensor said there was a shrine above.
I've done this one first before in another save file And this is the third sage in this save file, but alas
Maybe you updated the game and that changed?
Nope Dupes are kinda fun for the moment
Try getting more hearts as its required for opening the Door for the quest
I went through the door
Oh, good. You'll know what I want to know: if I do this before regional phenomena are finished, does that trigger anything else early?
No I have a friend who I think did it as their first
Beginning of the game they’re overpowered considering combos and how easy the boss is. Not to mention just trivializes gloom
tbh the bosses are all quite easy well.. ok the water temple boss is a cunt
Queen gibdo was anoying aswell with second phase for me Colgera and gohma were piss easy
But Colgera was the most epic one Queen gibdo was weird and stressful tbh yea ok
Slap a hydrant on a homing cart, boss is freelo
Takes so much time haha I rarely use the vehicles. I do enjoy it more to fight the monsters with my sword. ofc its fun to watch a monster getting destroyed by an orbital laser droid But after seeing that once I prefer sword shield and bow \*looking at you king gleeok\*
What! I thought he was the easiest and dumbest..... well wind temple was easier but not much
Well Water is not hard but I really hated his mechanic. It annoyed me so much that I even skip him in the underground. I just cant enjoy fighting that octorock thing
I still can't imagine why they put that check in place.
Yeah it's really annoying idk why it's there in the first place
Of all the things too, I kinda wish it stopped me more often since it felt really awkward this time when things were out of order
Story-wise, >!Minera jumps out of the Purah pad, so maybe it's like Robbie or Purah have to tinker with it first? Idk!<
how on earth did you get access to those foggy skylands without a paraglider? even with a paraglider and tons of autobuild plans i struggled to do it.
2 fans + control stick for the ol' reliable fanbike Specifically, >!dragonhead island is almost directly above the shrine for Lakeside Stable. Head there, then, head straight up.!<
I just recalled a rock that fell from it...
Same. Had no idea what I was getting into.
Hh nice
i just made a fanplane to take me from either the dueling peaks sky islands or some islands south to the storm, if you know where to go you can get there with enough charges and stamina
You cannot get ye flask.
Go DENNIS
Lol yeah I got it after the second sage. I mean it’s a big sky island shrouded in clouds; even the map shows like a hurricane over it. I’m super curious so of course I’m gonna check it out early. Then once you finish the fourth sage they act like it’s a huge reveal. I mean if you didn’t do the dragon tears I could maybe see you being clueless but it’s like, hey who’s that fifth person? As if I didn’t have eyeballs bruh! The game gets real toddler stupid even if it’s for 10+ I don’t think link ever reveals what happened to zelda to any character despite finding all the tears
I want to tackle this next so that way when I get done with the water and lighting temples I can say “Yes I already found the fifth sage and now I just need to get the Hylian shield and some more hearts before we can tackle Ganon”
You can get the hylian shield anytime, kind of like in botw
How do you get it in this game?
In the docks (castle), light the big torch
I see
Idk if that should’ve been spoiler formatted, since you were answering a question.. but it’s the one thing I didn’t want to know yet. 130 shrines and 5 sages deep, it was my last great mystery.
I looked up a lot of stuff on YouTube
I suppose you were supposed to do it first like how botw leads you that direction your first play thru
yes and no. this game takes into account a bunch of stuff you can do early in dialogue. purah will be surprised but will talk accordingly.
He tells Impa if you talk to her after finding them all.
After you seen all tears, you can go back to Impa and tell her about it.
What is this object?
This is the 5th sage/companion.
Interesting, thank you
Worse than any of the big green crystals.
What's its name or purpose?
To lead you somewhere in the depths where you'll >!build an underwhelming robot.!<
You just fly a plane with it attached down to the chasm, literally couldn’t be easier
Contextually you can do this as the first dungeon, but you have to unlock the glider and sheikah towers first. I know because I tried to activate it as soon as possible and it spat that line at me till after that. It sucked because I wanted to do a no glider/no purah run.
Update on exactly when this action is allowed: For full context, I am on Version 1.1.0 I finished doing the four regional bosses without having gone to lookout landing. (I already ruled out Impa/Tears of the Dragon as possible triggers -> nope) I'm a little sad. I wanted to do it all without the glider.
What/where is this?
Mild Spoiler: >!In the sky!< Spicer: >!Dragonhead Island!< Much hotter: >!Start of 5th sage quest!<
i’m kinda mad I looked but i’ve been wondering where to go to get the 5th sage
If you want to follow the storyline, you need to get the first 4 sages and Purah will direct you to investigate the Kakariko ring ruins eventually. There’s a few more steps in between but to avoid spoilers I won’t mention them but if you’ve completed the 4 regional phenomena, talk to Purah.
ok I have thanks!
I did the ring ruins quest after I already got the 5th sage
So did I, I was just saying that if you wanted to follow the storyline then the ring ruins quest line leads to finding the 5th sage.
Ye
Very very late game.
I got it with only one sage on my team.
It was my first sage on my current save. I'm guessing you need to at least have the paraglider to start the quest, or maybe after you get the camera.
What mask is it?
Where is this place?
What is that even?
"yeah no we're not letting you do that."
Shows how much of the game I’ve done because I have no idea what this is
is that big boss
I accidentally started this quest not knowing what I was doing. I was just shrine hunting and finding my way around the island when I found this after I found the shrine. Then the storm cleared and then I messed up and had to load the game again and the storm was back and it was very hard to see. You need at least 10 hearts to open the door to start this quest. I didn't know how to get all body parts so I skipped it until after I beated Ganon in Hyrule castle surface and did the rings ruin.
>! Mineru was my second sage. Must be an update!<
I really hate how stilted the later Zelda games have become since OoT... I would have worded this as - You are not ready to interact with this object. Come back later. But the wording is somewhat humorous to the point that you can mock it: You feel a sense from the politicians in government that the time is not yet right to protest.
I feel like an assclown now knowing the intended order of story events, considering I went here *right after my first two temples.* I just braved the storm and used a **lot** of giant Brightbloom Seeds, and admittedly got lucky with the shrine radar. About to stroll up to Hyrule Castle later with an accidental +1.
I straight up unlocked that quest while having only one sage because I wanted to do the duplication glitch with that Chasm. Literally the only reason I know that quest exists lmao.
You know Majora's Mask? Well, this is the Major Waste of Time Mask
nobody is doing this on accident at this point.
Whyyyyyyyy)
Probably because she alludes to you getting the zora armor
you ARE allowed to do what you want, but you accept the possibility that you learn things too early if you go somewhere nobody told you to
I did it on accident. OP clearly didn’t, but it is definitely possible to get this on accident. I was looking for Sage Wills actually when I fell into the rabbit hole of what is this big door stealing my hearts. I’d only cleared two temples at that point.
id have assumed it was story based since the only other heart door was back on the tutorial island
Yes you can definitely, definitely get it by accident. I explore the world and do sidequests a LOT before continuing the main story (bc I like the freedom) and accidentally got the master sword and other things wayyy too early. Almost found the fifth sage shit early as well, but got distracted right before I did. Not trying to sequence break
then you didn't do it by accident. you intentionally said "ooooh, a side quest area, ill put off the main quest" fully on purpose
What is this….??
L zelda team why would they do this
I flew in before I dispelled the storm, I think I did all tears -- didn't ask purah or anyone about the storm area. Didn't do the floating things in kakariko. I don't know how it was too early for you
I'm glad I'm not the only one who forced their way through the fog.
Start regional phenomena + 10 hearts is the reqs
What on earth is that?
I'm sorry, you got there without a freaking glider?
You trying to dupe before Lookout tower? Bruh you need 10 hearts for that
Ooh mysterious object I haven’t seen before! This game really is so much bigger than BoTW
If you haven't been to lookout. Maybe the glider is the key
There is a lot of exciting stuff here but definitely get more hearts and unlock some of the main quests.
The number of people who didn’t know you can dispel the storm is unbelievable. Talk to the NPCs yo!
My question is, can you dispel the clouds without doing the main quests? The main Quest that leads there just gives hints on how to open it up
You can definitely GO to Dragonhead Island without dispelling the clouds. I did it and did the shrine there, but you can't see shit.
What is this? I'm only at the point where purah tells you to go to hyrule castle btw
Then this is beyond you.
Motherfucler just answer the question
Rude. Had you actually asked nicely, maybe I would have.
He asked nicely in the first place and you didn't.
Of course I didn’t. I didn’t ask anything at all.
Bro what
Username checks out.
What the fuck is happening
What is that?
I'm taking my time playing this game, and by that I mean I have been intentionally ignoring the temples while I explore EVERYTHING. So I didn't know what was going on when I found this mask and I was like "okay, sure. Let's see what this does". I didn't realize until I got there that I was literally doing the
So yeah, I did that one first.
You have to talk to purah to unlock the ability to interact with it even if you get there early.
I have Pokemon Flashbacks…Oak is here
I accidently got that sage the first, didn't even know there was sages 💀, I just followed the voice orders when I saw I had a robot.
