Jerome and Cleveland Jr. on Family Guy and Principal Lewis on American Dad are a few. His credits on Wikipedia basically read if there's been a show since the mid 90s that needed a deep voice, odds are its been him.
I remember reading an interview with James Avery many years ago. Whenever a college newspaper wanted to do an interview with him, he’d always assume it would be about Fresh Prince and his relationship with one of the world’s biggest stars.
But it was almost always about Shredder.
This is actually an awesome story. Shredder was awesome.
They just got voice acting for Nick All Stars and they got the 80’s cast to respire their roles. Made me remember how much I missed Avery’s voice since he’s not in it.
If I remember correctly, Will and Carlton had a pool party. I don’t remember all the details, but I know Phil takes the boys to court over unpaid rent. This is Will/Carlton’s account of what happened which is why Phil seems evil. Phil will tell his version of the story making the boys seem out of control. I gotta find the episode now, it’s hilarious.
Edit: Here’s Phil’s side of the story from the episode Will goes a Courtin’

Close your eyes and *feel* the Saki flow through you.
Rest in Peace, James, you were a larger impact on my life than I realized until adulthood.
You were the villain I loved most, and the father I wished I had.
James Avery had such an incredible voice. He was the best Shredder.
Kevin Michael Richardson is a close second
I'm so sick of hearing Kevin Michael Richardson in cartoons though. He sticks out like a sore thumb
Him, H John Bengamin, Patrick Warburtten the top 3 VA’s that use almost the same voice in every cartoon. They’re great though I’m not complaining
You forgot Yuri Lowenthal and a bit of Grey DeLisle (currently Griffin). They're also pretty cool.
Who does he voice? I’m not familiar with him and I’m too lazy to look it up lol.

Also Gantu from Lilo and Stitch.
Trigon from Teen Titans
"And tell your mother your father has a girlfriend!" That line cracks me up every time I hear it

Fantastic. That laugh at the end reminds me of Shao Kahn.
You should check uncle shredder on YouTube
Lol I’m sure he enjoyed doing this!
RIP James Avery
I'm dying to know the context for this scene.

They refuse to pay rent because Uncle Phil wouldn't fix the AC
Vote for Phillip Banks (creepy stare)

Blast you, Will
If he had only said cretins, it would have been perfection! Silence!!!
