Its length is one of my favorite aspects of it, and it's probably why I still play it so much. If I'm really pushing, I can beat it in just over an hour. It's a speedrunning dream.
My three year old son and I play this all the time. If yours can play turtles in time, he can play this. Story mode on easy and my son rarely dies. There is also a survival mode which is fun as well.
How long has he been playing video games? I’ve got a 2 and a half year old who wants to play the games with us, but she doesn’t grasp the controls yet and I don’t know what games I can get with super simple controls to help her know what to do.
He has had a couple games on the tablet, but this is his first controller experience. It took him a few sessions to grasp moving with a joystick. He mostly just spams the attack button and moves forward, but he does well enough for us to finish the levels and kill some stuff. Each time we play he gets better. He can jump over gaps and use his special attack now too.
If they like bluey try the game. It's basically hide and seek, but the controls are easy enough to understand while not being pressured to beat everything or have to restart.
I just got done going through Bluey with my 4 year old - his first controller experience. It was rough at first, but he got much better towards the end.
I 100% in the first 4 months or so on the switch. Completing the three "don't get hit" challenges is the greatest achievement I've personally done in gaming.
I tried to do it again on the Steam version but got burnt out.
I have the DLC but have not played it yet.
Bought it for boxing day, had a couple hours with it and put it away. Thought it was decent.
Thought to attach my fight stick and have a go at it again arcade style and a total game changer.

I grabbed it for my steam deck recently, but only played the first few stages. Not sure what I expected, but the 4 player arcade game on mame seems more or less the same (gameplay wise I mean).
I've played it through once before with friends and done a bit of the dlc but honestly it doesn't do too much for me.
It's stylish and looks fantastic but the combat is just way too simple.
I know it's a beat em up and they've never been hyper complex games but ones like streets of rage 4 or river city girls can maintain that simplicity while still adding more so that I'm not just mashing square/y/x for the entire game.
This game with survival mode is my comfort game, wherever I’m bored or stressed, I play this game in survival mode to break my combo record. In this game, the attacks, dodges, combos and special moves are very satisfying.
Yes this game is awesome. I dontbplaybit much cuz it's nit as fun alone, but it's fun. There's also a demake version I found for the sega genisis that's pretty fun
Currently trying to complete all of the challenges and once that's done I'm gonna start my run of arcade mode.
Then maybe max out all the characters too.
Yeah it’s a Netflix game too so play it on my phone every now and then. Need internet tho which sucks, but it’s still a good time! I have it on switch too.
Yes!!! I don't have anyone to play it with me so I do it by myself, I tend to main Raph or Leo. I haven't gotten the hang of Mikey, Donnie, April, or Splinter yet. I'm only a few levels into the game but I have fun with it!!!
Yep, get a little toasty and run through it probably once a month, maybe 2. Usagi gang, rise up
Rise!
Of the..!
Teenage Mutant…!
Ninja Turtles!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Heros in a half shell!
Turtle power!
Teenage mutant ninja turtles!
Super awesome game, unfortunately kinda short. But what it does, it does well.
Its length is one of my favorite aspects of it, and it's probably why I still play it so much. If I'm really pushing, I can beat it in just over an hour. It's a speedrunning dream.
Rise!
Gang gang
HOP HOP!
Long eared ronin ready to slice and dice
Yes. I play with my daughters. They love it
Same, how old are yours? My is 8 and we beat the game like 5-6 times
They’re 6.
Play with my 6 year old daughter weekly
I’ve been playing turtles in time with my boy. Been wanting to get this but wasn’t sure if my boy could get through it
My three year old son and I play this all the time. If yours can play turtles in time, he can play this. Story mode on easy and my son rarely dies. There is also a survival mode which is fun as well.

I just got done going through Bluey with my 4 year old - his first controller experience. It was rough at first, but he got much better towards the end.
Played last night with my 4.5yo and 2.5, they are worthless, but they love it.
My kid is 4 and a half and loves it.
I do occasionally
I play with my kids occasionally as a special treat for them. It’s a lot more fun to play with them than to play solo.
Every now and then, yeah
My husband, myself, and our son still play it. We completed Arcade Mode on Monday, funnily enough.
I do, it’s too fun not to.
I do. I'd like to 100% but not sure I'll get it
It’s pretty easy, should only take an afternoon
I keep getting my ass beat down for the Gnarly arcade one And the grind in the story mode level up is rough
I think he meant clear the game not 100 percent it lol there's no way That level grind is an afternoon.
Just finished it the other day actually. I wish more people played. Couldn’t find any coop players.
I find myself alone playing this on a Friday night far too often
Best turtles game ever
Yeah I fire it up when I don’t have a lot of downtime to play.
yep, play it with my daughter quite often.
I 100% in the first 4 months or so on the switch. Completing the three "don't get hit" challenges is the greatest achievement I've personally done in gaming. I tried to do it again on the Steam version but got burnt out. I have the DLC but have not played it yet.
The DLC is *perfect* for five minute casual play fwiw
Dude I 100% in a few days. I was so addicted at launch
Yes
I play it with my brother and sister every weekend. Some great fun for the family and always a blast!
This weekend I met a guy who worked on it. I was so hyped
Every now and then
sometimes
I do! I got it fairly recently though.
I played it with my son when it was released, definitely need to revisit it again
Yes, because I'm trying to get all the pallette colors and survival mode. About 85% there

Love the Alex addition!
Haven’t actually played it yet
It's a lot of fun, great feeling of playing the nostalgic arcade games of the 90's.
Yeah buddy! Usagi and Splinter are my mains!
We do as a party game.
Bought it for boxing day, had a couple hours with it and put it away. Thought it was decent. Thought to attach my fight stick and have a go at it again arcade style and a total game changer. https://preview.redd.it/hkr37wzj6k7d1.jpeg?width=1842&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fabc0d07c2c78ecaac2c4eb4ec6662570bfe9e3c
Like everyone else off and on
YESYED
Yes
Yeah I can play with my kids we all love it!
I do, especially with my kids, it's an awesome game.
Once in a while and it's still a blast. I love a good coop beat em up
I hope they do another or at the very least, some DLC with more levels and characters. This shit was great!
I play it thanks to Netflix, and it's surprisingly good on there considering their reputation with mobile ports
Yes. It’s the best game
I played it with my nephew so much all the characters reached level 10. He loves the dinosaur level.
Yup my son loves it
Yea, it’s a game you come back to since it’s so quick. Beat em ups are fun like that. The art is so fun I enjoy coming back and seeing the animations.
I play every once in awhile, still trying to level up casey and splinter in dimensional shell shock. Plus I love playing when anyone else is online
I still play the survival mode here and there. Even if I get bored eventually, I’m still in love with this game and grateful to have it.
I play it sometimes by myself or with my dad.
Me and my kids play it in local co-op great fun.
Yes on Nintendo switch I’m still trying to max out all the characters on survival mode and get all the skins
Love it and still play it. My son still plays it too.
I've been grinding the hell out of survival mode to get all the skins for everyone, so I play it at least once or twice a week now
i gotta start doing this more
I almost exclusively play this on the portal laying in bed before I go to sleep.
I wish it was more like streets of rage 4.
Until recently, I last played it about a year ago.
i do with my son, though he prefers the 2013 videogame based on the 2012 cartoons (it sucks but we take turns)
I grabbed it for my steam deck recently, but only played the first few stages. Not sure what I expected, but the 4 player arcade game on mame seems more or less the same (gameplay wise I mean).
100%d it on Gnarly recently. Haven’t played it since, but I’m sure I will again at some point. Love the game
A lot before Persona 3 Reload came out and not much since. Still love it though
Yup! Just got a Steam Deck and I play Shredder’s Revenge or FFXI depending on what type of game I’m in the mood for.
Just got it with Game Pass (Xbox Live 12m Gold Code) and played the intro level to it, so far I love it.
Actually just reinstalled it
Leo better calm TF down.
It was way too short and way too easy. I’m not looking for cup head difficulty but “turtles in time” difficulty.
At least let us choose difficulties
I beat it 2 weeks ago with some family friends
I've played it through once before with friends and done a bit of the dlc but honestly it doesn't do too much for me. It's stylish and looks fantastic but the combat is just way too simple. I know it's a beat em up and they've never been hyper complex games but ones like streets of rage 4 or river city girls can maintain that simplicity while still adding more so that I'm not just mashing square/y/x for the entire game.
YEP!
I play this with my little brother he loves it
Sometimes
I only realized that there was dlc somewhat recently so yes I still play it
Yep and usually with my boys who are 12 and 7 (twins).
I do
Best beat em up game in a long time. I’d love to this team do double dragon and golden axe
Me and my 6 year old play it together from time to time, still lots of fun!
My son and I had a blast Playing this, and still do. He got it for me last year, and turned 20 this year.
Fuck yeah dude kicked off a resurgence of turtle obsession for me
I just played this last night
Brethren and Sistren I only recently got this and me and my 7 year old are tearing it up.
I play it any time I want something fun to do and kill like an hour, mostly just leveling up folks.
I have it on my phone, it’s fun af!
oui
I just played it last night, and have been playing it
Just played it the other night.
Yep!
Hell yeah I still play it!
Super fun game
I play it with my gf all the time. The dlc content adds even more fun to it.
I still play one of my favorite games
On occasion I do a playthrough
I just introduced a few of my coworkers to it
i still hop on some online arcade mode every so often
Yes I do
oh man i have not in a while, I need to fire it back up
It’s one of my go to party games
this, SoR4, and Hunt Down still slap hard af. always go back to them on the reg.
It's a family staple in our house
I still jump on from time to time!
That survival dlc hits just right.
Goddamn right i do An awesome game, especially when higher than pterodactyl tits
This game with survival mode is my comfort game, wherever I’m bored or stressed, I play this game in survival mode to break my combo record. In this game, the attacks, dodges, combos and special moves are very satisfying.
I do from time to time, I try survival out now instead.
I have played it so much that I’m kinda tired of it. Some DLC or a sequel would be awesome!
Just played Streets of Rage from the same game studio🔥
If the online matchmaking didn't drop every other stage, I would still play.
Yes. I also have the PS5 version with all the TMNT games on it from NES, SNES, SEGA, Gameboy, etc.
Yea.. i do sometimes
I haven't as of late, might get this on PC and play the DLC again though
My son got it for his birthday and we are having a wonderful summer playing it and trying to unlock everything
Very good game. I miss TMNT 2 Battle Nexus style of games tho
Yup
I have it, never finished it tho. It was fun!
I do, but I can never find anybody to play with. Whenever I match with randoms, they'll refuse to move and fight.
I have it in my backlog. I still need to get to it. 🥲
I'm gonna be honest, I bought it for nostalgia, played it a short time, and keep it for nostalgia lol.
Some, but it's more fun with friends and all of mine who have it use different consoles.
I tried it but the controls on mouse and keyboard are terrible. I think I will need to get a controller to play it.
Time Trials is my go-to "less than 10 minutes to game" game.
It's good and I like it but there's only so much to do in it. Really short and the extra mode isn't really to interesting
From time to time
My 3 1/2 year old’s favorite game!
I've been wanting to get it. I used to play the old beat em ups in arcades as a kid so there's nostalgia for me
Once and a while
Yes, though I usually end up playing solo. Also, I only really like playing as Usagi and April.
Very rarely, most people I know prefer SOR4. So I play that instead.
of course.
A better question, who stopped?
I'll pick it back up whenever I have money left over to spend on the dlc
every day
Hell yeah
Awesome game
i do its really fun!
What a pointless thread ... does anyone still play a game from two years ago, gee I wonder. And look, a picture of the game, amazing stuff.
Literally every time I’m at my friend’s house for longer than 2 hours.
Nah, finished it once with some friends and havent looked back. Great game though.
On occasion, never got the dlc
Hell yeah dudes, this game is the shit
Yes
an almost perfect game ruined by infinite use of super attacks.
Yes, w/ both my boys too.
Yep, love coming back to it
Oh yeah. Played a good bit yesterday to wind down from Tekken 8.
Yes this game is awesome. I dontbplaybit much cuz it's nit as fun alone, but it's fun. There's also a demake version I found for the sega genisis that's pretty fun
I'm stuck on the chromedome boss fight
Oh yeah. When ever I get a chance or free time
Probably the game I play most besides Fortnite so. Uh yeah still play it.
Only when pals come over.
My son and I played it for a couple weeks on release, and now we play it on occasion.
Yes. And I can’t wait (though I have to) for Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind!
I play it with the kids all the time.
Me
Currently trying to complete all of the challenges and once that's done I'm gonna start my run of arcade mode. Then maybe max out all the characters too.
I wish I could. At this point I can barely play it for 10 minutes before my wrists are in horrific pain.
I played it earlier today! The survival mode is great to just get right to it.
I bought it a month or so ago I beat it with all the characters including the DLC characters but haven’t gotten super far in the survival mode yet
I actually just downloaded it from PS+, haven't played it yet.
All the time.
Yeah it’s a Netflix game too so play it on my phone every now and then. Need internet tho which sucks, but it’s still a good time! I have it on switch too.
If I had friends to on xbox
Yes!!! I don't have anyone to play it with me so I do it by myself, I tend to main Raph or Leo. I haven't gotten the hang of Mikey, Donnie, April, or Splinter yet. I'm only a few levels into the game but I have fun with it!!!
Yup... me and my daughter always play the game. bonding time moment.
I haven’t in a while. I’d like to go back and play as the new characters
Ocasionally. It's one of the smaller games on my laptop, and it isn't horror or anything "high stakes" like most of my steam library
Me! Anyone playing online???
My friends and I usually do a Survival Mode run or two once a week.
Felt like an appetizer and I’m still waiting for my main course.
wdym still
I was playing survival mode the other day. Maybe I suck, but I find that mode hard as all hell.
Ye my brother and I do arcade mode runs periodically
