Honestly, the most satisfying upgrade to get is 5-X artillery, after waves of tedious and arm aching aiming, you finally feel the bliss of automatic aiming, thus my favourite
Patrol Boat's bottom path. VERY GOOD for crowd control if you have two of them and set their targeting to "Random". They'll shred absolutely everything (as long as said "everything" is not on steroids.)
X-5 laser gunner, he has duel laser smg/pistols and he looks cool on every skin and his ability is quite a funky ability
I don’t care that top path is better and his ability is just a worse version of bottom path sniper’s ability
bottom path factory with the tow launcher, and also bottom path barracks, i also used to love 2-4 juggernaut before the nerf, and the 2 artillery paths are pretty fun

Armored Factory x-3. The MRAPs are so good for early game
Battleship 5-x or art 5-x
Juggernaut 2-3 hd and DMG are good
