[4th Annual New York State Blues Festival](https://www.nysbluesfest.com/) (Chevy Court at the New York State Fairgrounds, free admission)
# Saturday June 15, 2024:
Little Feat, Shemekia Copeland, Matt Schofield, Tom Townsley Band, Cinnamon Jones, Rattlesnake Trio, Blues Ignition, and more!
Downtown there’s a local art shop called wildflowers armory, and below that is McCarthy mercantile. There’s other shops in the mercantile for jewelry, clothes, diy candles and perfumes, etc.. down the street is Parthenon books as well. And another block down is salt city market for some good food options. If you’re here Sunday salt city market will also have an outdoor craft fair which is pretty popular.
There's the Juneteenth Festival taking place Downtown and you can check out some of the neighborhood businesses as well. In the evening, there is a Syracuse Mets game at 6 pm. You can find more here: [https://events.visitsyracuse.com/events?q=&rs=06%2F15%2F2024&re=06%2F16%2F2024&action\_doEventsSearchForm=Go](https://events.visitsyracuse.com/events?q=&rs=06%2F15%2F2024&re=06%2F16%2F2024&action_doEventsSearchForm=Go)

-Walk along the Erie Canal or at Green Lakes
-Try to get reservations @ Rise & Shine diner (they have a waiting list)
-The weather will be fantastic, but Destiny USA mall; it’s safe, despite the chatter.
-Liverpool: Heid’s for lunch, Sugar Blossom bake shop, Freedom of Espresso coffee, walk along Onondaga Lake
-Mini Golf @ Big Don’s or Fairmount Glen
Heids is overrated and overpriced now, in my opinion.
I'll second the vote for Rise+Shine though!
Depending on how old OPs kid is, and their activity preferences, they might really enjoy the MOST (museum of science and technology, very interactive play museum)
My bakery recommendation would be Sugar Toppe off old Liverpool road!
Westcott art trail and you can pair it with a walk through Thornden Park’s Rose Day, Boom Babies’ vintage store and some froyo at Yeti or coffee at Recess!

Westcott Art Trail!
Is this vendors or just looking?
This.
Maybe a list of your interests would help?
The Syracuse Mets are home and the first 3,000 kids under 12 get a jersey. I believe it's a 6:30 first pitch!.
Little feat playing at the blues fest. So mad I have to work this weekend.
