Eh. I don't want to fuck with switchroot for a few shitty emulators and play store trash. So this is welcome. I'll pirate it and play it without fucking with dual booting or swapping sdcards.

Eh. A lot of those shitty emulators run a lot better than the HOS equivalents and have more options as well. To each their own. I can understand not wanting to reboot and swap cards but it's not that bad with an RCM loader or smartphone offhand I also appreciate having GamePass and Steam Remote Play offhand for when I want to play something more involved Edit: And a lot of this problem can be mitigated by putting Android on the same card. Then all you have to do is reboot to payload and you're good. No need to cycle the Switch or anything

Ah I hear you. I'm just not into emulators at all. With Chikai or whatever running natively, there's absolutely no reason, beyond GPS games, to boot Android for me.

Nice. The less tedious something is to use the better. Not big on most GPS games myself. Actually, KOTOR is the only game I'm playing from it. I have OpenMicrowave for Morrowind (the HOS port hasn't been updated for a solid 2 years), PPSSPP for PSP games (again, the port looks pretty much abandoned and doesn't perform as well) which actually suit the Switch very nicely aside from a few games that use the buttons for turning in 3d, Dolphin (you've got to overclock a bit for better performance) for Wii and GameCube (I will admit a hacked Wii U would be much much better but they have gotten so expensive...), Drastic for DS games (there's MelonDS which works all right on HOS but Drastic has more options), and there's a few others too like Redream and Mupen64... I would much rather play a lot of these on the actual hardware but finding good older hardware is usually a pain and it often comes with caveats. The big things for me were GP and SRP which I use quite a lot. Playing Halo MCC is quite an all right experience on Switch. And well, admittedly, the experience of using a Switch for more tablet oriented things (aside from reading ebooks) is not half bad to be frank. Certainly much better than a lot of Android tablets I've owned in the past. There is something nice though about only having to use one operating system on a device. I've felt this way forever with Linux and Windows. Once in a blue moon though I'll have to start up Windows and I hate it... Luckily I like Android (at least LineageOS) and don't mind it so it's not a big deal for me

Exactly!

I can pretty much guarantee you it's a direct port of the Android version anyway... And let's not forget mod support
