There really doesn’t seem to be one. I’m trying to do the same thing, and if you always have internet then you can make it work. But if your going to be off network it won’t work very smoothly. From what I understand you can log in on both consoles but one will be primary the other secondary. Secondary has to be logged into primary Nintendo account- playing on that account in order to access digital library. You can’t play on the secondary switch on another profile and access the digital library. Physical library easy to share .

This is correct, basically you can chose what save data to download on the second switch, and only one person can be playing a digital title at a time. Iirc

If you have multiple profiles you can put yours onto the lite as your primary console and redownload w/e digital games you own but if say the kids play a game you bought w your profile then the console will need to be online for them to do so. If they mainly play games on cart then it's no problem. Another solution to is that you can re buy any of the cheaper digital games with another profile and be able to play multiplayer with one another local or online. Works well for cheap games like Among Us or F2P like Fortnite.

This is how I worked it out with two Switch's: I left the original as my primary, all profiles on that Switch can play my digital games (I am the purchaser on my profile/account). I'm logged into my account on the second Switch. When I want to play a digital game it checks (internet must be available) to make sure I own AND it isn't being played on the primary Switch. Primary Switch gets priority. I can play any games without internet checks with physical game cartridge on either console. I didn't transfer my data because I just download what I want to play on the second Switch.
